About This Luxury Brazil Carnival, Iguazu & Alagoas Tour

Top hightlights

This trip lets you experience Brazil in three distinct states: festive, untamed, and serene. First, Carnival in Rio sweeps you up in its rhythm. You'll be a guest at the Copacabana Palace Carnival Ball, lift off over the city by helicopter, and spend the main night at the Sambadrome, watching the samba school parade from a private box. Most Brazil Carnival tours stop at the parade. Here, the celebration is layered with Corcovado, the historic center, Sugarloaf, and time to explore the city on your own. This VIP Carnival tour includes private transfers, premium Frisa seats in Sector 4, and the flexibility to return to the hotel before the show ends.

From there, the journey shifts from bustling Rio to the thunder of Iguazu Falls. You'll see the cascades from both sides, approach them on a private boat, and take in the full arc of water from the air on a helicopter flight. Then the route ends in Alagoas, where a few free days by the sea give you room to let the impressions settle. This is what a luxury Brazil tour is really about: Belmond and Kenoa aren't just places to sleep – they become part of the experience itself.

Every detail of this VIP Brazil journey is arranged in advance: private transfers, English-speaking guides, Fast Track access, and private formats throughout. Busy days are balanced with downtime, so the itinerary never turns into a race. All that's left for you is to relax, take in the views, listen, and feel how one country can reveal itself in so many different ways.

Your stay at Belmond Copacabana Palace begins with a view that sets the tone – the famous Copacabana Beach stretches out right after you wake. In the evening, we recommend dinner at Cipriani, a Michelin-starred Rio restaurant known for its contemporary Italian cuisine, carefully paired wines, and live piano.
First, a VIP Corcovado tour takes you by train through the Tijuca Forest to the panoramic platform at Christ the Redeemer. Then the historic center – a VIP tour that swaps altitude for the streets of Lapa, the mosaic of the Selarón Steps, the theatrical facade of the Municipal Theater, and the stained-glass glow of the cathedral.
At night, the hotel's grand halls transform completely. The Copacabana Palace Carnival Ball brings together evening gowns, fantasy costumes, music, and haute cuisine. This is elite Carnival in Rio – running from 10 PM to 5 AM, shifting from a formal reception into a full-blown celebration.
The main parade you'll watch from a private lodge at the Sambadrome – a Frisa box in Sector 4 with six seats in rows A/B. Dancers in dazzling costumes, expertly crafted floats, live music – a celebration that doesn't want to stop.
The 30-minute helicopter flight over Rio is worth it for the instant shift in scale. Below you, Corcovado, the lagoon, Leblon, and Ipanema glide past; then the arc of Copacabana and Sugarloaf come into view, and familiar landmarks fall into a single sweeping composition.
Iguazu reveals itself from multiple angles. The panoramic trail shows the full sweep of the falls. An open jeep drives you through the forest. A private Macuco Safari boat carries you into a cloud of spray. And a 10-minute helicopter flight over the falls completes the shift in perspective.
The Argentine side lets you stand almost above the falling water. A VIP tour of the Argentine side includes an ecological train and a walk across catwalks above the calm riverbed. At the final platform, the river suddenly vanishes into the white veil of the Devil's Throat – a roar that silences conversation and reaches deep into your chest.
The journey ends at Kenoa Exclusive Beach Spa Resort, in the Apoena Suite with a terrace, ofuro, and ocean views. This luxury spa hotel in Brazil offers three nights without an excursion schedule – just pale sand, warm water, and the freedom to shape each day as you choose.

Your 11-Day Luxury Carnival & Iguazu Itinerary

Itinerary

Day 1. Arrival in Rio de Janeiro. Meet Your Guide. Transfer to Belmond Copacabana Palace.

Upon arrival* your guide will meet you at the airport with a sign and escort you to your private transfer. Your first impression of Rio is born from the close proximity of things that don't seem to fit together: dark granite peaks rising right behind residential towers, groups of neighbors chatting at building entrances, and a city that never drops to a whisper, even after sunset.

Among Brazil's luxury hotels, Copacabana Palace stands out not just for its historic facade. It's praised for attentive service, impeccable housekeeping, and a breakfast that sets the tone for the day. You'll be staying in a Deluxe Ocean View room – meaning your mornings start with Copacabana, right outside your window.

Your VIP stay at Copacabana Palace continues with a free evening. We recommend dinner at Cipriani – a Michelin-starred restaurant known for contemporary Italian cuisine, an excellent wine list, and live piano.

*Fast Track service is available as an add-on: meet-and-greet at the aircraft, priority security clearance, check-in assistance, baggage handling, electric cart transfer, and porter service.
Day 1. Arrival in Rio de Janeiro. Meet Your Guide. Transfer to Belmond Copacabana Palace. -0

Day 2. Rio de Janeiro. Corcovado Tour to Christ the Redeemer. Evening – Carnival Ball at Copacabana Palace

After breakfast, you'll head to Christ the Redeemer. The ecological train carries you through the Tijuca Forest to the summit of Corcovado. From the base of the statue, you can see all of Rio spread between mountains, lagoons, and the ocean: the green expanse of the Botanical Garden, the massive bowl of Maracanã Stadium, the Niterói Bridge, and islands scattered across the bay.

Lunch at Aprazivel (not included).

Then you'll explore the historic center. You'll see the Lapa Arches cutting across the neighborhood in a clean white line, and the Selarón Steps rising between buildings in a colorful mosaic of tiles from around the world. You'll also admire the Municipal Theater and step inside the Metropolitan Cathedral, with its striking stained-glass windows.

Before the ball, you might have dinner at Marius Degustare (not included).

At 10 PM, your exclusive Carnival tour continues at Copacabana Palace. The grand halls fill with guests in carnival costumes and live music. Until 5 AM, you'll be more than a spectator – you'll be a guest at one of Rio's most exclusive celebrations, with fine dining and impeccable service. The shimmer of fabrics, the clink of glasses, and the music – all of it blending into a night to remember.
Day 2. Rio de Janeiro. Corcovado Tour to Christ the Redeemer. Evening – Carnival Ball at Copacabana Palace -1

Day 3. Rio de Janeiro. Free Morning. Helicopter Flight Over Rio (30 min). Evening – Samba School Parade at the Sambadrome

The morning is yours to recover – sleep in after the ball, enjoy a late breakfast, or wander the city without a guide.

Then comes the helicopter flight. In 30 minutes, distances that felt vast on the ground come together in a single frame. From above, you can see how Corcovado, the lagoon, the beachfront neighborhoods, and Sugarloaf are all connected. With each turn, another part of the city reveals itself, and familiar landmarks take on a new shape.

At night, you'll take your place at the Sambadrome in a private box – a lodge for up to six guests. From here, you can see the details of the costumes, the expressions of the dancers, and the work of the crews on the floats. The samba schools pass before you one after another, and the stands pick up the familiar refrains.

*Rio Carnival VIP tickets include a Frisa box in Sector 4, rows A/B, with seating for six – exclusive to your group. Private transfer and guide are included; you choose your return time.
Day 3. Rio de Janeiro. Free Morning. Helicopter Flight Over Rio (30 min). Evening – Samba School Parade at the Sambadrome -2

Day 4. Rio de Janeiro. Sugarloaf Mountain Tour with VIP Fast Track

After the night at the Sambadrome, your luxury Carnival experience continues with a free morning. There's no rush to get anywhere – you can rejoin the program when the noise of the night has fully faded.

In the afternoon, your guide will meet you at the hotel and take you to Praia Vermelha. The cable car first lifts you to Urca Hill – a wide platform where you can pause, grab a snack, and watch the bay enter the city between islands and neighborhoods.

The second segment takes you higher, to Sugarloaf Mountain. Corcovado showed you Rio from above the mountains; from here, the coastline comes into sharp focus – the curve of Copacabana, the Niterói Bridge, the islands, and Christ the Redeemer in the distance. That's why VIP Rio tours include both peaks – the impressions don't repeat, even though the city below is the same.

*Fast Track access at Sugarloaf is included, letting you skip the general queue. This is the kind of detail that sets a VIP Brazil tour apart.
Day 4. Rio de Janeiro. Sugarloaf Mountain Tour with VIP Fast Track -3

Day 5. Rio de Janeiro. Free Day. Optional – Private Boat Trip to Angra dos Reis

A free day leaves the choice up to you. Explore Rio on your own or book ahead at Lasai (not included) – an intimate ten-seat restaurant with two Michelin stars and a surprising tasting menu. During a premium Brazil getaway, you decide how to spend your time. For an elite Rio dining experience, it's best to reserve a table in advance.

If you'd like to trade the city for islands, you can head to Angra dos Reis.

* Two transfer options are available for this private VIP Brazil tour: a helicopter gets you there in about 40 minutes, or a car takes about three hours.

In Angra, a private boat awaits. It will cruise between the islands of Costa Verde, with stops for swimming and snorkeling. The fish are visible right through the clear water, and lunch is served on one of the islands. This is how you add a sea day to your exclusive Brazil tour – without a group, on your own schedule.

*Angra dos Reis trip, transfers, boat, and lunch are not included in the package price.
Day 5. Rio de Janeiro. Free Day. Optional – Private Boat Trip to Angra dos Reis -4

Day 6. Flight Rio – Foz do Iguaçu. Check-in at Belmond das Cataratas. Brazilian Side of the Falls. Macuco Safari (Private Boat). Helicopter Flight Over the Falls. Bird Park

After breakfast, you'll transfer to the airport and fly to Foz do Iguaçu. Your guide will meet you upon arrival and take you to a Junior Suite with breakfast at Belmond das Cataratas – the only hotel inside the national park, which means you can reach the falls without the lines.

Today, Iguazu reveals itself from four angles. During a VIP tour of the Brazilian side, you'll walk the panoramic trail, gradually taking in the entire line of cascades. Then an open jeep carries you three kilometers through the forest to the Macuco Safari launch. A private boat brings you as close to the falling water as possible – close enough to feel its full force.

After the boat, a ten-minute helicopter flight lifts you above the falls. From above, the individual streams come together into a wide arc cutting through the forest.

The day ends at the Iguazu Bird Park. In large walk-through aviaries, macaws fly over visitors, toucans perch near the path, and butterflies and hummingbirds flash among the leaves.
Day 6. Flight Rio – Foz do Iguaçu. Check-in at Belmond das Cataratas. Brazilian Side of the Falls. Macuco Safari (Private Boat). Helicopter Flight Over the Falls. Bird Park -5

Day 7. Foz do Iguaçu. Argentine Side of the Falls. Devil's Throat Viewing Platform

Your private Iguazu tour begins at the hotel: your guide will accompany you across the border and through the national park. This is one of the advantages of a guided tour – no need to navigate the crossing or the routes on your own.

Yesterday, you saw Iguazu from a distance and from the air. The Argentine side changes the perspective. An ecological train takes you to the start of the walking trail, then catwalks lead across the wide river. The water still flows calmly, birds settle along the paths, and orchids and butterflies appear among the damp greenery.

The most dramatic cascade is the Devil's Throat: the air grows cooler, spray reaches farther, and you can feel a slight vibration underfoot. At the edge, the calm river suddenly drops into the gorge. Three different routes let you experience the falls from different angles – which is why two VIP Iguazu excursions don't overlap. One shows the falls as a whole; the other brings you face-to-face with the water itself.
Day 7. Foz do Iguaçu. Argentine Side of the Falls. Devil's Throat Viewing Platform -6

Day 8. Flight Iguazu – Maceió (Alagoas). Transfer to Kenoa Exclusive Beach Spa & Resort

After breakfast, you can walk out to the falls one more time. Early in the morning, the trails near das Cataratas are especially quiet. This is how Belmond hotels in Brazil let you keep exploring a place, even on the morning of your departure. Then you'll be taken to the airport for your flight to Maceió, with a connection in Rio de Janeiro.

In the capital of Alagoas state, a completely different part of the journey begins. Maceió, Brazil – this leg is dedicated to coastal seclusion. A private transfer from the airport takes you to Kenoa Exclusive Beach Spa & Resort, where service is attentive but never intrusive. The reserve vegetation surrounds you, the Atlantic is visible from the rooms, and the beach is rarely crowded.

This exclusive Alagoas resort sits next to a nature reserve. You'll stay in the Apoena Suite with breakfast. The 45 m² suite features a terrace with panoramic ocean views, an indoor garden in the bathroom, and a Japanese ofuro bath made from fragrant cedar. After the flight, it's especially satisfying to fill it and have nowhere else to be.
Day 8. Flight Iguazu – Maceió (Alagoas). Transfer to Kenoa Exclusive Beach Spa & Resort -7

Days 9–10. Alagoas. Free Time. Relax on the Exclusive Beach

Today, there's no schedule to follow. Luxury relaxation in Alagoas offers a rare chance to spend the entire day by the sea – step onto the beach when you feel like it, retreat to your room during the midday heat, and return to the water toward evening.

Here, you quickly understand why the beaches of Alagoas are a special kind of luxury. The light sand is barely noticeable underfoot, the water stays warm, and the gentle slope lets you swim comfortably near the shore. The beach at Kenoa is surrounded by tropical vegetation and rarely shared with large tour groups.

It's the quiet and the lack of a schedule that define a VIP escape on Brazil's northeast coast. After Carnival in Rio and the roar of Iguazu, this kind of elite Brazil getaway feels especially welcome – impressions settle in your memory while you listen only to the sound of the surf.
Days 9–10. Alagoas. Free Time. Relax on the Exclusive Beach -8

Day 11. Transfer to Maceió Airport. Departure Home

At the scheduled time, a driver will take you to Maceió airport. From there, you'll fly to Rio de Janeiro or São Paulo to connect with your international flight.

Your VIP Rio – Iguazu – Alagoas tour has come to an end, with each part of Brazil leaving its own mood. In Rio, you were inside the celebration: evening gowns and carnival costumes side by side at the ball, and from your private box at the Sambadrome, you watched the best dancers pass before thousands of spectators. A VIP Carnival experience in Brazil that stays with you long after the lights fade.

Then came Iguazu – the power of water that drowns out even your own thoughts. And Alagoas gave you back a sense of time you could spend without a schedule. This premium combination tour wove together city, waterfalls, and coast so that the impressions never competed with each other. You'll return home not with one story about Brazil, but with three.
Day 11. Transfer to Maceió Airport. Departure Home -9

Buenas noches Viera.

Pavel, good afternoon!
My name is Marina Ryzhuk. A few weeks ago, our VIP group from St. Petersburg visited Rio with you. I believe you remember them well.
I’d like to thank you for your excellent work with our rather demanding guests. After the trip, they spoke very highly of your services. Our particularly important gentlemen especially appreciated your personal approach — you managed to find a special way to connect with them.
Through your tours, they were able to truly feel the city, which is absolutely priceless on such trips.
Thank you!

Anna, thank you very much on behalf of our tourists, the Chubar family, who visited in February.
They praised your excellent and well-organized work and were very pleased!
They said everything was as precise as with the Germans :)
REVIEW №13- Mikhail and Elena Leksikov
Good afternoon, we were in Rio de Janeiro March 15–17, 2020. Not for long, but it was very full of experiences.
The driver who met us at the airport, to our joy, spoke English and even a little Russian. He pointed out where we could walk and eat.
The next day we met Eleonora, a GUIDE and a Person with a capital P. We were lucky to visit Corcovado and see Brazil’s main symbol. Unfortunately, we couldn’t make it to Sugarloaf Mountain due to the coronavirus quarantine.
Instead of the canceled excursion, Eleonora gave us an impromptu city tour. She tells stories in an interesting way, knows a lot, but doesn’t overwhelm with facts, shows where the best photo spots are, and even took pictures herself. Thanks to her, we managed to get coffee and souvenirs—it turned out not so easy to find what we wanted.
She was very caring and concerned for us—even after we went to Búzios, she kept checking how we were, suggesting where to go and what to see and buy.

A very close-knit, friendly team, always ready to help.
REVIEW №14- Nikita, Saga Tour Operator
Good afternoon, Alexandra!
Thank you very much for the organization and support.
The tourist was very happy and said everything was top-notch :)
Paraty is definitely a place to recommend—it leaves no one indifferent. Porto Real is probably in the best spot on that coast.

Thank you!
Wishing you success in everything!

Good morning, Anya! Thank you for organizing the tour for the Efimov family, for your human touch and for always being available 24/7 to help—this is priceless! The tourists are very happy, especially with the Amazon—they said two days was too little))) Wishing you grateful clients and prosperity in your business! Always in touch!

Alexandra!
Our clients have returned, very satisfied.
They left a special review about the guide in Quito:
In Quito, we had a wonderful guide named David.
During our three-day visit to Quito, your guide David was with us. He made our stay in Quito rich, interesting, and unforgettable. Not only does he know a lot about the city, the country, and its nature, he is also a truly interesting person himself. Our three days were filled with conversations about everything. Our knowledge of Ecuador is now practically encyclopedic—we learned so much. And the most important part was that it all happened through engaging discussions.
We’d like to highlight his punctuality, his thoughtfulness, and his attention to detail. His advice on restaurants and places to walk during our free time was invaluable. We’ve met many guides—this is the 103rd country we’ve visited. We don’t always get so lucky with a guide, but David was exceptional. Thank you to him and to all of you!!!

THANK YOU FOR THE EXCELLENT ORGANIZATION.
REVIEW №17- Elena and Evgeny

It was simply a great pleasure to talk to such a smart, educated, and interesting person! He did everything and even more! Many thanks!!!

Dear colleagues, good afternoon!
I want to thank you for handling our group – a large and challenging one, with a very intense program – which you managed to organize and host at the highest level. Tremendous work – thank you so much, ladies!
Months of preparation, countless changes and additions – I know what it all cost us – but everything turned out perfectly. Thank you for your attention and patience.
For many tourists in the group – despite the number of countries they’ve already visited, practically the whole world – this trip became the best of them all!
That says a lot, and it was so nice to hear. I want to share this gratitude and pride in a job so well done with you!!!!

A poem dedicated to the Ada Tours guide!
In Rio, where sunlight meets golden skies,
Our guide Paulo greets us with kind, warm eyes.
He knows the whole city, where secrets lie deep,
And welcomes each guest with joy that’s sincere.
“Come on,” he says, “to Corcovado,
Christ calls you up to heaven’s shadow.
Then on to the beach, where waves beat the shore,
Copacabana invites us once more.”

Paulo will show us where samba resides,
Where Brazil’s true heartbeat endlessly thrives.
In favelas he sees not poverty, but life,
Where sparks of hope conquer struggle and strife.

With a smile, he leads us along every way,
Paulo’s our friend, our golden pathway.
A Brazilian guide, a master of wonder,
With him, Rio feels closer to heaven’s splendor.

This poem is from me, for you.

Good afternoon, Alexandra.
I want to thank you for organizing our vacation.
Our guides were simply outstanding – top class.
Pavel knows so much about Brazil and Rio in particular. He’s very easy to talk to, communicates effortlessly with people, is always learning something new, and gladly shares his knowledge. An excellent guide and a wonderful person.
And Tiago – we spent two days with him. He’s amazing. Even after 18 years of work, he hasn’t lost the ability to genuinely admire the beauty of the waterfalls. He still takes photos like it’s the first time.
With your guides, it’s never boring! Thank you once again!!!
