Day 1. Bogota
Arrival in the City of Bogotá, assistance at the El Dorado International Airport, and transfer to the hotel to carry out the respective Check-in. Accommodation.
Day 2. Bogotá – City Tour + Monserrate
Breakfast at the hotel. At the agreed time, the City Tour will begin through the historic center of Bogotá, also called "La Candelaria", within which the Gold Museum will be visited, where about 34,000 pieces of pre-Hispanic gold and more than 25,000 pre-Colombian objects will be known. Later, the Casa de la Moneda and Donación Botero will be visited, where works by the master Fernando Botero, a Colombian internationally recognized in different artistic techniques such as painting, drawing and sculpture, are exhibited. The tour will continue with a panoramic tour knowing the Framework of the Plaza de Bolívar (The Primate Cathedral, The House of Nariño, The Liévano Palace and The Palace of Justice), to finish the ascent to Monserrate. Back to the hotel. Accommodation. Duration: 6 hours It includes: Professional tour guide in English, private transportation, entrance to Museo Del Oro - Casa de la Moneda and Botero Donation and ascent to Monserrate. Important note: Gold Museum closed on Mondays, Casa de la Moneda and Donación Botero closed on Tuesdays.
Day 3. Bogotá – Zipaquirá – Visit the Salt Cathedral of Zipaquirá
Breakfast at the hotel. At the agreed time, assistance at the hotel and departure to the town of Zipaquirá, passing through the so-called “Savannah of Bogotá”. Arrival at the Zipaquirá Salt Cathedral, one of the main tourist sites in Colombia, cataloged as the first wonder of Colombia built 180 meters deep in a salt mine. Back to the hotel. Accommodation. Day 4. Bogotá – Bogotá – Pereira – Visit to the Coffee Farm
Breakfast at the hotel. At the agreed time, transfer to the El Dorado International Airport to take a flight (not included) to Pereira. Arrival and reception at the Matecaña International Airport, transfer to the hotel for the respective check-in. at the agreed time the route to the municipality of Santa Rosa de Cabal will begin. Once you arrive at the Coffee Farm, the tour begins in the company of a local expert, taking tourists through beautiful specialty coffee plantations, explaining how the coffee process is from planting, selective manual harvesting, and pulping. After this, we will roast grains of special coffee in a wood stove in the kitchen of the typical peasant house where we can have an authentic coffee experience. On the tour there are several stations with viewpoints made of bamboo where we can appreciate the beautiful landscape and natural environment of the place while enjoying a cup of coffee. Finally, we go to the innovative process of drying the coffee beans and then to the mill, ending up in the main house where we are fired with a delicious coffee lemonade. Back to the hotel. Day 5. Pereira – Visit Salento and Cócora Valley
Breakfast at the hotel. At the agreed time, the tour to the Valle del Cocora will begin, appreciating the beautiful landscape of the place. Once we arrive at the Valley, we will have a welcome cocktail (canelazo) and assistance by a specialized eco guide from Cocora who introduces us to the Cocora Natural Reserve. Day 6. Pereira – Cartagena – Rumba in Chiva (shared service)
Breakfast at the hotel. At the agreed time, transfer to the Matecaña International Airport to take a flight (not included) to Cartagena. Arrival and reception at the Rafael Núñez International Airport, transfer to the hotel for the respective check-in. Accommodation. At night, at the agreed time, fun panoramic night tour through the festive and joyful city of Cartagena aboard the traditional "Chivas" typical buses painted with bright colors. During the tour you will visit some of the main tourist sectors of the city such as Bocagrande, Castillo Grande, Torre del Reloj, Los Pegasos dock, Getsemaní, Manga, Castillo de San Felipe. The tour is carried out with crossover music from the chiva sound system with directed recreation. During the tour we make a photo stop for 10 minutes in the old shoes, in the castle of San Felipe and Cartagena sign. Then we enjoyed for an hour in a nightclub in the city. We finish at the accommodation hotel in Bocagrande or Torre del Reloj. Day 7. Cartagena – City tour
Breakfast at the hotel. At the agreed time, start of the panoramic tour in a private transport unit equipped with air conditioning through the residential neighborhoods of Bocagrande, Castillogrande and Manga. Arrival at the Cima de la Popa, where you will have a complete view of the city, guided visit to the convent and church. They will continue to the San Felipe de Barajas Castle, the most important military engineering work of Spain in America and which protected the city from pirate attacks. At the end of this visit, you will return to the hotel along Santander Avenue where you will be able to appreciate the bastions and walls of the historic center; visit the craft center Las Bóvedas.Back to the hotel. Day 8. Cartagena – Isla del Rosario (Island of charm) in shared service
Breakfast at the hotel. At the indicated time, assistance at the hotel and transfer to the Bodeguita dock to take a speedboat that will take us to the Rosario Islands (approx. 45 min) appreciating a panoramic view of the Bay of Cartagena and Bocachica during the tour, additional a beautiful landscape with the forts of San Fernando and San José. Coasting the Island of Barú you will arrive at the base Island in the Rosario Islands. to enjoy its crystal-clear waters. There you can dive with a tank or snorkel (additional cost).
