Day 6: Torres del Paine – Full Day of VIP Excursions with Grey Glacier Navigation
Today is the centerpiece of your Torres del Paine National Park experience. The park's granite towers rise more than 2,800 meters. The lakes are turquoise, the glaciers are blue, and the wind never really stops - this is Patagonia.
At 9:00am, you meet at reception and walk 40 minutes to the pier. From there, a boat takes you on the Grey Glacier boat tour - the Grey Glacier navigation across the cold lake waters, past blue icebergs, and right up to the face of the glacier. The scale and power of this ice wall are impossible to describe.
After returning to the lodge, you continue on a guided walk: past Laguna Sofia, along the Prat Ridge, past lakes Porteño, Cerro Mesa, and Toro. Then you stop at the Pehoe Lake viewpoint - one of the most photographed views in all of Patagonia, with the Torres reflected in the still water.
From the lake, the path leads to Salto Grande waterfall - an 18-meter cascade that thunders between two lakes. After that, you visit viewpoints over Lake Nordenskjöld, Laguna Amarga, and Lake Sarmiento. These landscapes show the full character of Patagonia: raw, windy, and unforgettable.
Included: Torres del Paine National Park entrance tickets, boat navigation, lunch.
