Pick up from the hotel and visit the Traditional Markets from La Paz city, sightseeing San Pedro Jail. Then, we will take the cableway from where we can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of La Paz. Visit Moon Valley it is located 10 km. from downtown of La Paz´s city. Neil Armstrong who was the first man that stepped on the moon in 1969 gave this name. They are impressive formations, composed mainly of clay and were created by the persistent erosion of mountains by the area’s strong winds and rains. Finally, we will visit the Historic Center of La Paz where we will visit Witches´ Market (here, we will understand the Andean way of thinking and their mystery), San Francisco Church, Murillo Square, Executive Palace, Legislative Palace, Metropolitan Cathedral and Killi Killi Viewpoint.

Day 2: La Paz – Uyuni – Salt Desert – ColchaniBreakfast at the Hotel.

Pick up and visit the Train Cemetery (old locomotives from 1899 with wagons that transported Bolivian minerals to Chilean ports and are now part of an industrial past). Transfer to the town of Colchani located on the banks of the Salar to observe the elaboration of iodized salt in its local rustic form, learn the activity of salt extraction and visit a small local museum. Entrance to the beautiful and majestic Salt Desert and visit of its surroundings where the interesting Salt Blocks, Ojos de Agua Salada and the First Salt Hotel in the world (now a museum) are located.
In the afternoon, tasting a typical lunch on the shores of the beautiful Incahuasi Island (located in the middle of the salt desert), an island where there are a large number of giant cacti that can reach more than 10 meters in height and where there will be a 45-minute walk approx. to observe from its summit the salt flat in its splendor from an approximate height of 3822 meters above sea level. Continuing the tour, we will head north to view the Beautiful Tunupa Volcano and visit the mysterious Chikini Cavern, where we will appreciate an immense image of petrified cobwebs. Finally, panoramic and photographic visit of the Salar and transfer to the Salt Hotel.
