This day starts early, around 6:00 AM. The first activity is a visit to the famous rock formation in the desert, the Stone Tree. Next, we'll visit Sol de Mañana, where we can observe the volcanic activity of the region and see fumaroles or geysers. After that, we'll drive to Polques, where you can enjoy hot springs. Later, we'll reach the Dali Desert, where surreal columns of stones carved by the wind can be found. Then, we'll marvel at Laguna Verde or the Green Lagoon, one of the gems of the reserve, at its best moment, located at the foot of the Licancabur volcano. Afterward, we'll head back to Uyuni and take a stroll through the Valley of Rocks, where giant volcanic rocks are located near Alota.
