Day 6: Ushuaia
After breakfast at the hotel, we will go on an excursion to the Tierra del Fuego National Park. This National Park is the southernmost nature reserve in the world, being the only National Park that has a 6 km long sea coastline along the Beagle Channel and an area of 63,000 hectares. During the tour, we will pass the Pipo River, the Susana Mountains, Ensenada Bay, see Redonda Island, Roca Lake, Lapataya Bay, lagoons, beaver dam and forest house. Landscapes of the park delight with diversity - rocky mountains, picturesque rivers, valleys and lakes.
Additionally, you can order an excursion to the penguin reserve on Martilo Island (300 USD per pax in a group) Transfer to the port 20 min and 2h navigation. Magellanic penguins gather here at the end of September to give birth. In addition to them, here you can meet Papua penguins - with a red beak. We will be able to walk with them, they are not at all afraid of people, and we will also see a variety of birds, such as albatrosses, cormorants, petrels, vultures and South American terns.
