Your 18-Day Peru and Bolivia VIP Itinerary

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Lima, Transfer to Belmond Miraflores Park and Dinner at Rafael
19:00: arrival at Jorge Chavez International Airport. Guide and transfer by Chevrolet Suburban to the hotel, about 45 minutes through the evening city. *What to pack for a VIP tour of Peru: Lima requires light clothing and sun protection. In the Amazon the air is humid and evenings call for long sleeves. On the water and in the jungle, lightweight shoes with good grip and a change of clothing are useful. In Cusco and the Sacred Valley temperatures drop, especially in the morning and evening, so a warm layer is needed.

Day 10: Helicopter Excursion to Rainbow Mountain Vinicunca, Flight over the Andes
Today: a Rainbow Mountain helicopter tour over Vinicunca, with transfers and guide included. Total flight duration: 1 hour 20 minutes, of which 10 minutes fly directly over the mountain. This Vinicunca from above shows the structure of the slopes clearly: mineral bands run in layers, color shifting from turquoise to ochre and lavender. These shades are formed by sedimentary rock with high iron and copper content, which reacts differently to light and moisture. Vinicunca lies at about 5,200 meters. The helicopter format avoids the long and demanding hike on foot. Below: herds of llamas and alpacas, scattered settlements, dry Andean slopes. Snow holds in patches, uncovering color.
Return to Cusco. Belmond Palacio Nazarenas. Night in the city.
Day 10: Helicopter Excursion to Rainbow Mountain Vinicunca, Flight over the Andes -6
Day 11: Cusco, Sacsayhuaman Fortress, Coricancha Temple and the Cathedral
At 09:00: departure to the plateau above Cusco and the Sacsayhuaman ruins (Volkswagen Crafter, 3.5 hours). Sacsayhuaman stands above the city. Stone blocks fitted without mortar, the wall lines running in zigzags across the slope. From here Cusco is visible as a whole: terracotta rooftops in the valley between the mountains. Next: the Inca sanctuary of Kenko with a sacrificial altar built into a rock cave. Then: the Puca Pucara viewpoint, a small fortified outpost on the approaches to Cusco. And Tambomachay, the Inca water complex connected to royal rituals and rest.

Return to hotel, then a city tour of Cusco (Volkswagen Crafter, 3.5 hours). The route begins at San Cristobal square with a panorama of the city, then moves to the San Pedro market to get to know local flavors. Then the Coricancha temple, whose walls were once covered in gold, and the Santo Domingo church. Along Hatun Rumiyoq street: the Palace of Inca Roca, the Stone of Twelve Angles, and the Cathedral with its colonial art collection. Return to hotel.

At 11:10: arrival in Puno and transfer to the Titilaka hotel Peru, a Lake Titicaca luxury lodge on the shore of the lake, away from the city. The room windows face the water, the horizon line is almost unbroken, and the light changes through the day from a cold morning quality to a soft evening glow.

Hotel program: 3 days and 2 nights, full board. Excursions to the Uros floating islands and trips around the area, getting to know local life and traditional weaving.
Day 12: Flight to Puno, Transfer to Titilaka Hotel on Lake Titicaca -8
Day 13: Lake Titicaca, Excursion to the Uros Floating Islands from Titilaka
Excursion by boat to the Uros floating islands on Lake Titicaca: reed islands, the Aymara people, traditional crafts and costumes.
Day 13: Lake Titicaca, Excursion to the Uros Floating Islands from Titilaka -9
Day 14: Flight to Uyuni via La Paz, Transfer to Kachi Lodge on the Salt Flat
Transfer to the airport and flight toward Uyuni via La Paz (passport formalities).
On arrival: a short transfer to Kachi Lodge Uyuni. Accommodation in Kachi Lodge domes, luxury dome pavilions right on the edge of the salt flat.

The Uyuni Salt Flats luxury tour experience begins. The salt flat lies at about 3,600 meters and covers thousands of square kilometers. The white surface stretches to the horizon and the line of sky barely separates from the ground. In the dry season the surface is firm, with the geometry of salt cracks. In the rainy season a thin layer of water turns it into a mirror. This VIP format means going out onto the salt flat at hours when there are almost no other people, and you are left alone in this space without boundaries or reference points.

At first, your eyes can no longer tell how far away the mountains are. Then the silence pulls you right out of your usual frame of perception – and you simply gaze, without searching for meaning. A rare experience, one that has to be lived.
Day 14: Flight to Uyuni via La Paz, Transfer to Kachi Lodge on the Salt Flat -10
Day 15: Uyuni Salt Flats, Incahuasi Island and Lunch at the Salt Hotel
Hotel group program: 3 days and 2 nights, full board.

The route passes through lagoons with red and green water, geysers, volcanoes, and dry high-altitude plateaus where flamingos, vicuna herds, and rare bird species are found.

After lunch, departure to the town of Colchani, where salt extraction has gradually become a craft. Then: out onto the salt flat. The route includes the salt hotel Bolivia, the first of its kind, as well as the Eyes of Water, small salt springs that show how this enormous flat was formed.

By midday you reach Incaahuasi Island Uyuni in the center of the salt flat to admire limestone rock formations, cactus groves, and local fauna. From the summit, 360-degree panoramas open over the salt flat.
Day 15: Uyuni Salt Flats, Incahuasi Island and Lunch at the Salt Hotel -11
Day 16: Altiplano, Laguna Colorada, Laguna Verde, Flamingos and Geysers (Optional)
First: Laguna Colorada flamingos. The water here shifts from brown to a deep red because of algae and plankton. Three flamingo species stand along the shore: James's, Andean, and Chilean flamingos.

Then: the high-altitude lagoons of the Altiplano lagoons tour: Canapa, Hedionda, Chiarkota, and Honda. The water is calm, surrounded by local birds and open plateaus.

Then a stop at the Ollague volcano. A walk around the Chiguana salt flat, whose surface is denser and darker than Uyuni due to high sodium and potassium content. The Sol de Manana geysers can also be visited in this area.

Return to Uyuni.
Transfer to the airport and flight to Lima via La Paz (passport formalities).

On arrival: transfer to the Belmond Miraflores Park. Night in Lima.
Day 16: Altiplano, Laguna Colorada, Laguna Verde, Flamingos and Geysers (Optional) -12
Day 17: Lima, Nazca Lines Overflight and Ballestas Islands by Private Boat
Transfer to the airport (Chevrolet Suburban, 45 minutes) and departure on a Grand Caravan aircraft for the Nazca Lines overflight.

The Nazca drawings lie on the coastal plain south of Lima. On the plateau: more than 800 straight lines up to tens of kilometers long, more than 300 geometric figures, and around 70 images of animals and plants: spider, hummingbird, monkey, condor, lizard, llama, and others. Some are about 370 meters in size. The scale only becomes clear from above: the lines stretch across the empty surface without crossing the terrain. This private Nazca Lines flight lasts about one and a half hours.

After the flight: departure on a Cessna Grand Caravan to Pisco and transfer to Paracas (25 minutes). Boarding a private yacht and heading to the Ballestas Islands boat tour (3 hours, drinks and snacks included). From the boat you observe sea lions, pelicans, and Humboldt penguins.

Upon returning to Pisco, you’ll set off for the Nazca Lines on a VIP tour aboard a private plane. Over the course of an hour and a half in the air, you’ll spot many of the principal figures.

Afterwards, you’ll fly to Lima, where you’ll be met and transferred to Belmond Miraflores Park. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 17: Lima, Nazca Lines Overflight and Ballestas Islands by Private Boat -13
Day 18: Transfer to Lima Airport and Departure
Transfer to Jorge Chávez Airport in a Chevrolet Suburban – 45 minutes through a Lima morning. Behind you lie 18 days and several time zones. The Amazon, the Andes, Titicaca, Uyuni, Nazca – each leg of the journey was so intensely packed that impressions overflowed, yet each new day made room for fresh emotions. This is what guests most often highlight in reviews of our VIP Peru tours: the itinerary never leaves a dull moment.

A private tour of Peru is more than a collection of locations. It is a shift in perspective: first the jungle, then the mountains, then the white infinity of the salt flats. By the journey's end, you feel that South America is not one place, but several different worlds that you were fortunate enough to brush against.

Inspired by Peru? Return once more – on a new Peru journey.
Day 18: Transfer to Lima Airport and Departure -14

Buenas noches Viera.

Pavel, good afternoon!
My name is Marina Ryzhuk. A few weeks ago, our VIP group from St. Petersburg visited Rio with you. I believe you remember them well.
I’d like to thank you for your excellent work with our rather demanding guests. After the trip, they spoke very highly of your services. Our particularly important gentlemen especially appreciated your personal approach — you managed to find a special way to connect with them.
Through your tours, they were able to truly feel the city, which is absolutely priceless on such trips.
Thank you!

They said everything was as precise as with the Germans :)
REVIEW №11- Mikhail and Elena Leksikov
Good afternoon, we were in Rio de Janeiro March 15–17, 2020. Not for long, but it was very full of experiences.
The driver who met us at the airport, to our joy, spoke English and even a little Russian. He pointed out where we could walk and eat.
The next day we met Eleonora, a GUIDE and a Person with a capital P. We were lucky to visit Corcovado and see Brazil’s main symbol. Unfortunately, we couldn’t make it to Sugarloaf Mountain due to the coronavirus quarantine.
Instead of the canceled excursion, Eleonora gave us an impromptu city tour. She tells stories in an interesting way, knows a lot, but doesn’t overwhelm with facts, shows where the best photo spots are, and even took pictures herself. Thanks to her, we managed to get coffee and souvenirs—it turned out not so easy to find what we wanted.
She was very caring and concerned for us—even after we went to Búzios, she kept checking how we were, suggesting where to go and what to see and buy.

A very close-knit, friendly team, always ready to help.
REVIEW №12- Nikita, Saga Tour Operator
Good afternoon, Alexandra!
Thank you very much for the organization and support.
The tourist was very happy and said everything was top-notch :)
Paraty is definitely a place to recommend—it leaves no one indifferent. Porto Real is probably in the best spot on that coast.

Thank you!
Wishing you success in everything!
REVIEW №13- Natalia

REVIEW №14- Nassir and Sholpan
Alexandra!
Our clients have returned, very satisfied.
They left a special review about the guide in Quito:
In Quito, we had a wonderful guide named David.
During our three-day visit to Quito, your guide David was with us. He made our stay in Quito rich, interesting, and unforgettable. Not only does he know a lot about the city, the country, and its nature, he is also a truly interesting person himself. Our three days were filled with conversations about everything. Our knowledge of Ecuador is now practically encyclopedic—we learned so much. And the most important part was that it all happened through engaging discussions.
We’d like to highlight his punctuality, his thoughtfulness, and his attention to detail. His advice on restaurants and places to walk during our free time was invaluable. We’ve met many guides—this is the 103rd country we’ve visited. We don’t always get so lucky with a guide, but David was exceptional. Thank you to him and to all of you!!!

THANK YOU FOR THE EXCELLENT ORGANIZATION.
REVIEW №15- Elena and Evgeny

Dear colleagues, good afternoon!
I want to thank you for handling our group – a large and challenging one, with a very intense program – which you managed to organize and host at the highest level. Tremendous work – thank you so much, ladies!
Months of preparation, countless changes and additions – I know what it all cost us – but everything turned out perfectly. Thank you for your attention and patience.
For many tourists in the group – despite the number of countries they’ve already visited, practically the whole world – this trip became the best of them all!
That says a lot, and it was so nice to hear. I want to share this gratitude and pride in a job so well done with you!!!!

A poem dedicated to the Ada Tours guide!
In Rio, where sunlight meets golden skies,
Our guide Paulo greets us with kind, warm eyes.
He knows the whole city, where secrets lie deep,
And welcomes each guest with joy that’s sincere.
“Come on,” he says, “to Corcovado,
Christ calls you up to heaven’s shadow.
Then on to the beach, where waves beat the shore,
Copacabana invites us once more.”

Paulo will show us where samba resides,
Where Brazil’s true heartbeat endlessly thrives.
In favelas he sees not poverty, but life,
Where sparks of hope conquer struggle and strife.

With a smile, he leads us along every way,
Paulo’s our friend, our golden pathway.
A Brazilian guide, a master of wonder,
With him, Rio feels closer to heaven’s splendor.

This poem is from me, for you.

REVIEW №33- Ekaterina Dumbravanu
Good afternoon, Alexandra.
I want to thank you for organizing our vacation.
Our guides were simply outstanding – top class.
Pavel knows so much about Brazil and Rio in particular. He’s very easy to talk to, communicates effortlessly with people, is always learning something new, and gladly shares his knowledge. An excellent guide and a wonderful person.
And Tiago – we spent two days with him. He’s amazing. Even after 18 years of work, he hasn’t lost the ability to genuinely admire the beauty of the waterfalls. He still takes photos like it’s the first time.
With your guides, it’s never boring! Thank you once again!!!

Hello, Alexandra.
I am sending you the full version of the tourists’ feedback:
We are publishing our review after our trip through Argentina–Uruguay–Brazil with my wife. It is always a pleasure to share emotions when they are entirely positive! We want to thank the entire Ada Tours team who helped us organize the perfect journey. From the very idea of the trip to its completion, you were always in touch with us, tailoring excursions and building the itinerary based on our requests, while also giving valuable advice and making all necessary adjustments. Everything exceeded our already high expectations – the trip was very rich and exciting! We recommend this route to everyone, especially when its organization can be entrusted to professionals☺️
We would especially like to thank you for selecting wonderful guides and drivers. At every stage, everything went like clockwork – we never missed a single thing, and the drivers were always extremely polite and pleasant.
Our journey began in Buenos Aires with a city tour. We visited the main square – Plaza de Mayo, cathedrals, and saw key architectural monuments from the Spanish colonial period, as well as the modern financial center. We explored the vibrant and colorful La Boca district and the main city ports. We were lucky with the weather, and the tour was fascinating. The guide advised us to visit several additional places, and we chose the Recoleta Cemetery, where many of Argentina’s most famous figures are buried. After the tour, we asked to be dropped off near the entrance and bought tickets. The only issue we faced was that we couldn’t pay in cash, but other visitors kindly helped us with the payment. The cemetery left a strong impression on us – we would definitely recommend it as a must-visit.
In the evening, we went to a tango show that exceeded all expectations. We watched authentic Argentine tango performed to live music, enjoyed Argentine wine, and saw other artists showcasing traditional instruments. The show was incredible and allowed us to truly experience the local culture.
The next morning we traveled by ferry to Montevideo. The journey was very comfortable; we would only recommend bringing snacks and an extra layer of clothing, as despite the heat, the ferry was air-conditioned and quite cool inside. We loved the city itself – we managed to see all the main sights and stroll along the coast. Midway through the tour, a wonderful lunch was arranged for us, followed by a light meal at the hotel.
After Montevideo, we continued as planned to Patagonia, where we spent just under three days. This place amazed us – it’s like nowhere else on Earth. From our hotel, we could see the vast Lake Argentino with its turquoise waters (sometimes flamingos can be seen there, though unfortunately we didn’t). The scenery of the Patagonian steppe and mountains will remain in our hearts for a long time. We took an excursion to the Perito Moreno Glacier – a unique wonder, truly beyond words. Probably the most powerful impression of the whole trip came from this glacier and the national park. It’s something everyone should witness with their own eyes.
After our mini-journey in Patagonia, we went on to Iguassu Falls, viewing them from both the Argentine and Brazilian sides. The sight was utterly unique and magical! Jungle, soaring eagles, butterflies, monkeys, and an endless chain of waterfalls stretching beyond sight. The park’s trails are very well maintained, with rest areas to escape the heat and humidity, and facilities everywhere.
The final stop of our trip was Brazil’s tourist capital – Rio de Janeiro. We visited the Christ the Redeemer statue, with its breathtaking views of the city, then spent time on Copacabana Beach, enjoying the Atlantic Ocean.
Overall, our journey was amazing and very full! And most importantly – as comfortable as possible, considering how vast the geography of our route was. Thank you!
Once again, thank you!

Sincerely,
General Director
