Caño Cristales – The River of Seven Colors or Liquid Rainbow Hidden within the heart of Colombia’s Sierra de la Macarena National Park lies one of nature’s most mesmerizing wonders — Caño Cristales, often called the most beautiful river in the world. For a few magical months each year, this unassuming river bursts into a kaleidoscope of color, as aquatic plants known as Macarenia clavigera turn brilliant shades of red, pink, yellow, green, and blue. Crystal-clear waters flow over smooth rocks and natural pools, creating a surreal landscape that feels more like a living painting than a place on Earth. Far from the beaten path, Caño Cristales is a haven for eco-adventurers, where each step through lush jungles and ancient mountains leads to new cascades, hidden waterfalls, and tranquil lagoons. This natural masterpiece is not just a visual spectacle — it's a soulful experience, where the vibrant colors, untouched wilderness, and cultural richness of the region come together in perfect harmony. Typical lunch (Included), which is taken during the walk; this will be wrapped in banana leaves "Bijaos" in order to avoid waste. Return to La Macarena town in the same way as we entered the area. Integration night: shows of folkloric arts and gastronomy of the region. Typical music and dance will be performed and later on, there will be an integration of young people from the region with visiting tourists. Dinner (Included). Rest.
