Day 4. 02.01 Rio de Janeiro
Breakfast at the hotel. City tour with a visit to Sugarloaf Mountain (6 hours) with guide. VIP access is included. The first stop will be at Urca Mountain, which has a wide observation deck. At the very top of Sugarloaf Mountain, there is a smaller platform, but it offers a magnificent view of Rio, Copacabana Beach, the bay, the surrounding mountains, ocean islands, the bridge to Niteroi, and the Christ the Redeemer statue. Next, you will head to the historic center. Visit the famous Lapa Arches, built in 1732 and used as an aqueduct to supply water from the Carioca River to the city center, and the famous Selaron Steps, decorated with mosaic tiles from around the world. See the Municipal Theater, designed by the best artists from Europe and reminiscent of the Paris Opera. Finally, visit the unique Rio de Janeiro Cathedral, which can accommodate 20,000 people. Additionally (not included), you can book a helicopter flight over Rio de Janeiro (flights from 10 to 30 minutes). A helicopter flight gives you the opportunity to fully enjoy the beautiful views. You will see the blue ocean, mountains covered in tropical greenery, white sandy beaches, yachts, and the entire city: the Christ the Redeemer statue, the Botanical Garden, the lake, Niemeyer Avenue, Leblon, Ipanema, Copacabana beaches, and Sugarloaf Mountain. In the evening, we recommend dining at the Marius Degustare restaurant (seafood), whose interior resembles a sunken treasure ship.
