Afterward, you will explore the largest Japanese quarter in the world, Liberdade. The name means "freedom" in Portuguese, and the area has an unmistakable Eastern atmosphere. A significant portion of its residents have Japanese, Chinese, or Korean origins. People come to Liberdade to walk through its unusual streets, eat Asian food, and shop.
Next, we will explore modern São Paulo, including Paulista Avenue and elite neighborhoods, as well as the famous graffiti district.

The small beach town of Paraty is like a museum in a tropical paradise. The city boasts one of the finest collections of 18th-century Portuguese colonial buildings. In the late 1700s, gold from Minas Gerais was transported through the mountains to Paraty and then shipped to Portugal. Later, a better route via Rio was found, which helped the city of Paraty preserve its original charm.

Approximate distance: 250 km

Day 5 – Paraty -Rio de Janeiro -4

Afterward, you will head to the base of the Corcovado Mountain. Here, you will board a small train that will take you up through the rainforest, passing incredible tropical trees. After a short walk from the final station, you will reach the giant Christ the Redeemer statue atop the Corcovado Mountain. At 700 meters above sea level, this iconic statue is the symbol of Rio. From Corcovado, you will enjoy breathtaking views of the city, including the Botanical Garden, Maracanã Stadium, and Sugarloaf Mountain. You’ll have plenty of time to take memorable photos. Then, you’ll descend and head to Praia Vermelha (Red Beach).

REVIEW №1- Ryan Cowden
Hey there! Just about to land in Chicago! What a journey home lol. Slept like a baby on the flight regardless of the screaming babies in front of us!
The trip was altogether wonderful. Honestly, 10x better after we arrived in Paraty. Loved that hotel and especially the vibe of the town altogether was so alive and exciting, all while very relaxed feeling. Probably my most favorite place I’ve ever been to for down time, but fun stuff to do easily accessible.
The first tour in Paraty wasn’t that great for us bc the guide was repeating things in English, but seemed like he wasn’t considering the entirety of what he was saying in Portuguese bc we missed some vital information I know I didn’t hear that led us to walking 1.5hrs and half of it on a muddy, slippery and just an obviously unmaintained trail barefoot. It wasn’t that bad, but I obviously never would have chosen to do that lol. Altogether I’d still consider the tour wasn’t bad though.
Second tour in Paraty was great. Enjoyed literally everything about it.
The last day we hired a nice big private boat and that was extra special to end our last experience with.
I’m excited to visit Brazil again - it’s a must. It’s the most beautiful landscapes I’ve ever seen.
Thanks,
Ryan

Dear Anna, Alexandra, Iona and the rest of the team at Ada Tours
Feed-back from a happy, satisfied customer!
A very big thank you for your very efficient services, Hospitality and most importantly your patience throughout the tour of my client. Dr. Chrysantha Mendis is very happy with the entire Tour. You did a fantastic job by organizing a detailed tour package covering 7 countries, Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia, Chile, Peru, Argentina, and Brazil. Dr. Mendis has enjoyed all the countries though he could not do a few tours in Peru which is understandable due to political unrest. We will recommend Ada Tours to all our clients in Sri Lanka and will start promoting your tours in our website.
Best wishes and kind regards,
Shamali

Hi Anna, thank you for the update on the glasses. I’ll wait and see what happens! Alan and I are now back in the UK. We loved our trip to the Pantanal and Bonito. Our guide, Alessandra was brilliant with lots of knowledge and very considerate and helpful. The only hitch we had was on our flight back to Rio because the second leg of the trip was cancelled and we were rescheduled to a later plane and our luggage was mislaid. Fortunately it arrived in Rio a day later, before we flew home. Thank you for arranging the trip.
Best wishes Carol

Hello Anna and Natalia,
Thank you for all your help with our trip! I know our group was difficult, and I appreciate your patience with us. We loved the tours, the horseback ride, and the absolutely beautiful lunch at the vineyard. Our guides and drivers were fantastic, especially Luis. And the hotels were perfectly located. It was such a convenience to be centrally located in both Lisbon and Madeira.
I hope you enjoy a wonderful holiday and I look forward to working with you in the new year!

Everything went really well. As always we had to make some adjustments and the local guide and team on the ground were very responsive and took action professionally. I have no complaints about this :)
The clients were very pleased with the tour and all arrangements.
Changing the few meals at the end on Isabela was not an issue and the local team did a good job organizing this for me.

Many thanks again Ana!
