As you navigate the serene waters of the Napo River for approximately one hour, take in the breathtaking rainforest landscape surrounding you, a prelude to the incredible experiences that lie ahead. After a delicious breakfast on the M/V Anakonda, we disembark for our first immersive experience in the tropical rainforest. Following lunch onboard, the M/V Anakonda will navigate toward one of the most pristine and less-explored sections of Ecuadorian Amazonia. This area is renowned for its inhabitants, including the legendary pink river dolphin, elusive black caiman, and the formidable anaconda. As we glide through the waterways, we may also encounter river turtles and a variety of playful monkeys, as well as the primitive Hoatzin, affectionately known as "the Stinky Turkey." To truly appreciate the beauty of this lush jungle world, we will embark on a canoe ride through the flooded ecosystem. In the afternoon, we will explore one of the largest river islands of the Napo River. In the afternoon, we will visit the Limoncocha Biological Reserve, a captivating protected area home to over 478 species of birds and various monkey species. Our exploration continues into the evening, where we will embark on a thrilling night excursion to spot black caiman with the help of flashlights.
