Embark on an exclusive journey to Paracas Bay with our "Paracas Premium Service." Your adventure begins with a private flight from Pisco Airport over the enigmatic Nazca Lines—massive geoglyphs that depict various animals and figures, such as a monkey, hummingbird, condor, and spider. These mysterious designs, whose origins remain a subject of intrigue, are believed by some to be a grand astronomical calendar. After your aerial exploration, return to the airport and transfer to your luxurious hotel. DAY 4: PARACAS/LIMA | INC: B

Early in the morning, set sail on a boat tour to the Ballestas Islands. As we navigate toward the islands, we’ll pass the "Chandelier," a colossal geoglyph etched into the sand, reminiscent of the Nazca Lines. Once at the Ballestas Islands, you'll witness a vibrant array of wildlife, including sea lions, pelicans, Humboldt penguins, and various seabirds. In the afternoon, return to Lima in style with our "Paracas Premium Service," ensuring a comfortable and seamless transition back to the city.

DAY 5: LIMA/AREQUIPA | INC: B

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Arequipa. Upon arrival, you'll be warmly greeted and escorted to your hotel. Enjoy a free morning to acclimate to the altitude. In the afternoon, embark on an exploration of the "White City," starting with the historic Colonial district of San Lazaro, where Arequipa was founded. Stroll through its charming streets adorned with vibrant geraniums and then proceed to the Carmen Alto viewpoint. Here, you’ll marvel at the expansive agricultural terraces and the majestic volcanoes—Misti, Chachani, and Pichu-Pichu—that frame the city. Next, explore the Yanahuara Colonial district, renowned for its Andalusian-style church and its picturesque viewpoint, framed by elegant sillar (volcanic stone) arches. Visit the Santa Catalina Monastery, a grand religious site that remained closed to the public for nearly 400 years, offering narrow streets, plazas, and gardens that evoke the old quarters of Seville or Granada. We embark on a journey to the stunning Colca Valley, ascending the slopes of the Chachani volcano and taking in the majestic views of the Misti and Picchu Picchu volcanoes. Our route takes us through the Pampa Cañahuas vicuña reserve, where these elegant animals roam freely across the high Andean terrain. Along the way, we pass through charming villages. We will pause for a delightful lunch before arriving at our hotel. The rest of the afternoon is yours to unwind and explore the hotel, with an optional visit to the nearby thermal baths. Enjoy dinner and a restful overnight stay in the Colca Valley.

DAY 7: COLCA/PUNO | INC: B/L

At dawn, we'll head to the Condor Cross viewpoint to witness the awe-inspiring flight of the condors—majestic Andean birds nearing extinction and emblematic of the Andes. The vantage point offers breathtaking views of the canyon’s depth, one of the deepest in the world. We’ll continue our exploration with visits to the towns of Maca and Yanque, where colonial churches still stand as testaments to the past. After a delightful lunch, we'll embark on a bus journey to Puno, a scenic drive of approximately five hours. Upon arrival, you'll be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy an overnight stay in Puno.

DAY 8: TITICACA LAKE | INC: B/L

Spend an entire day discovering the wonders of Lake Titicaca. Our journey begins with a visit to the Uros Islands, where you’ll meet the welcoming locals who live on these unique, man-made islands crafted from totora reeds. Next, we’ll head to Taquile Island, where traditional customs and vibrant attire are still cherished. Here, you’ll have the chance to wander the island and enjoy panoramic views of the lake. A delicious traditional lunch will be served on the island before we make our way back to the city in the afternoon.

DAY 9: PUNO/CUSCO | INC: B/L

Set off on a scenic bus journey to Cusco, with several fascinating stops along the way. Our first visit will be to the Pucara Museum, where you can explore intriguing artifacts and perhaps pick up a classic bull-shaped ceramic souvenir. Next, enjoy lunch while taking in the stunning views at La Raya, the natural divide between Puno and Cusco. Our route continues to Racchi, where you'll marvel at the impressive Temple of Wiracocha, known for its striking walls and narrow pathways. Before reaching Cusco, we'll make a stop at Andahuaylillas to admire its exquisite chapel. We’ll arrive in Cusco by late afternoon and settle in for the evening.

DAY 10: CUSCO | INC: B

In the morning, escape the crowds and explore Sacsayhuaman, an awe-inspiring fortress known for its massive stone structures and breathtaking vistas. Next, journey to the Inca shrine of Qenqo to see the ancient sacrificial altar carved into a rock cave. Our route then leads to Puca Pucara, offering panoramic views, and Tambomachay, an architectural marvel central to Andean cosmology. After a free afternoon to wander and discover the city, we embark on an exclusive city tour. We begin at San Cristobal Plaza, where you'll be treated to sweeping city views. A visit to San Pedro Market follows, immersing you in local flavors and the diverse produce that nourishes the city. Next, we'll marvel at the Korikancha Temple, known as the "Gold Enclosure" for its once-gilded walls. We’ll set off to explore the hidden gems of the Sacred Valley. Our first destination is Chinchero, a picturesque town known for its stunning archaeological site. Here, we’ll stroll through its charming streets and visit a traditional textile exhibit, showcasing the town's dedication to ancient dyeing methods and the creation of exquisite handcrafted textiles. Next, we’ll travel to Moray, renowned for its dramatic concentric terraces that resemble an ancient amphitheater. These terraces were ingeniously designed to simulate 20 different microclimates, essential for optimizing agricultural production throughout the Inca Empire. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before we continue to Maras. In Maras, we’ll visit the ancient colonial salt mines, a striking contrast against the lush green valley. Our adventure begins with a scenic train ride to Aguas Calientes, where our team will greet you at the station and assist with the transfer to a bus. The bus will ascend the winding road to Machu Picchu, offering breathtaking views of the Urubamba River and its dramatic canyon. Upon reaching the Lost City of the Incas, you'll be captivated by its intricate terraces, sacred shrines, and ancient urban spaces. DAY 14: MACHU PICCHU/CUSCO | INC: B

Enjoy a leisurely morning as you prepare for an extraordinary visit to Machu Picchu. Given the limited availability of entrance tickets, we recommend securing your tickets well in advance when booking your tour to avoid any issues with availability or overcrowding. During your exploration of Machu Picchu, take the opportunity to visit Intipunku, or the Sun Gate, which marks the entrance to the Inca Trail. For those seeking a more exhilarating experience, consider a hike up Huayna Picchu. Note that only 400 permits are issued daily for this climb, so advance reservation is essential. After your Machu Picchu adventure, we will make our way back to Cusco and transfer you to your hotel for a restful overnight stay.

Hi Anna, thank you for the update on the glasses. I’ll wait and see what happens! Alan and I are now back in the UK. We loved our trip to the Pantanal and Bonito. Our guide, Alessandra was brilliant with lots of knowledge and very considerate and helpful. The only hitch we had was on our flight back to Rio because the second leg of the trip was cancelled and we were rescheduled to a later plane and our luggage was mislaid. Fortunately it arrived in Rio a day later, before we flew home. Thank you for arranging the trip.
