Day 1 - Welcome to ColombiaArrival at El Dorado Airport from where you move to the hotel. After settling at the hotel we go to the hill of Monserrate (via cable car) where you will enjoy a panoramic view of the city at dusk, have a “canelazo”, a typical drink from the region of Boyacá.

Day 2 – La sabana de BogotáToday you will have an adventure trail through the savannah of Bogota, with panoramic view of the city, the hills, lakes and dams. Swim in one of the most beautiful thermal pools reach in minerals.

Day 3 - Canyoning in TobiaWe will have breakfast at the hotel. We will depart for Tobia, located 90 km from Bogota, where we can do Canyoning in The Barandillas, a waterfall 75 meters high. We will then enjoy a delicious lunch typical of the region and continue with a walk through the valley of The Tiger. Lodge in a nice country Hotel.

Day 4 - Climbing Day in SuescaEarly in the morning we are heading towards a town called Suesca, recognized nationally for the practice of extreme sports and being the preferred training ground for Colombian climbers and mountaineers. We will do some rock climbing appropriate to your level and experience. After climbing we will have a delicious lunch and enjoy of the beautiful landscapes of this town.

Day 5 - Back to the Colonial EraDepart at 8am to the Municipality of Ráquira in the department of Boyacá, for a short visit and to see the handicrafts. We go on to Villa de Leyva, one of the most beautiful and well-preserved colonial villages in South America. In the afternoon we will have the time to stroll through Villa de Leyva visiting the central plaza and all other colonial attractions.

Day 6 - Trekking Fauna and Flora & Iguaque SanctuaryAfter having a good breakfast we will leave for the Iguaque Sanctuary of Wild Fauna and Flora, a Paramo ecosystem which is unique in the world and which is found from Colombia through to northern Peru. This ecosystem is found above 2900 meters above sea level and up to 5000 meters above sea level. At the top of the mountain we will find the Iguaque lagoon, a sacred place for our ancestors. The walk consists of about 4 hours climbing and 3 hours descending.

Day 7 - Cobbled Streets in BaricharaWe leave the land of Boyacá to enter the land of Santander, where we head to the town of Barichara, considered the prettiest village in Colombia. It is a trip of about 4 hours with some stops to taste some of the typical products of the region. In Barichara we will enjoy a typical lunch from Santander and have the afternoon to relax and enjoy the peace offered by this beautiful place.

Day 8 - Nature and River RaftingThe town of San Gil, known for its steep cobbled streets, its Ceiba trees and extreme sports in the rivers Fonce and Suarez, is half an hour from Barichara. Early in the morning we head to the Juan Curi Waterfalls in Curiti. We do a short walk of 25 minutes to reach the 45 meter-high waterfalls where there is a natural pool with
crystal clear water. We can bathe for a short time here. After this encounter with nature we will have lunch and recharge our batteries for a rafting experience in the afternoon.

Day 9 - Chicamocha CanyonWe leave to meet the Chicamocha Canyon, one of the most popular places in Colombia for being one of the world's natural wonders. Continue on to the Rio Claro nature reserve where we enjoy a night in the middle of a tropical forest intact amid a marble canyon.

Day 10 - Canyon and CavesRio Claro is a private nature reserve which has a beautiful river of blue-green color. We will enjoy this day doing the most amazing activities in the middle of the forest as caving expedition, canopy or river rafting.

Day 11 - Peñol Stone monolithIn the morning after breakfast we head to Guatape and the Peñol stone (2-hour trip). There we will visit the Peñol, a stone monolith 200 meters high with 679 reaching up to its peak. From the top you can enjoy a 360 degree view of the lush beauty of the reservoir and Guatape surroundings. In the afternoon we drive towards Medellin the eternal spring city!

Day 12 - The eternal spring city and the CaribbeanAfter breakfast we will depart for a tour of the city of Medellin. This is the only city in Colombia that has the infrastructure of cable cars and Metro trains. We will cross the city in this famous Metro, and using the cable car, we will visit a viewpoint from where we will have a panoramic view of the city. Around noon we head straight to the airport to catch our flight to the city of Santa Marta on the Caribbean coast.

Day 13 - Snorkeling at the CaribbeanAfter breakfast we will go by boat to the beach of the dead, also known as crystal beach. This beautiful beach is perfect for a day of snorkeling, or diving for those who already have experience in diving. We will spend the day enjoying the breeze, sun and sea.

Day 14 - Amazing beaches at the Tayrona National ParkEarly in the morning, at 5am, we will go to the Tayrona National Park. On our way there we will have a snack to start the day. We will go for a beautiful walk of 4 hours through the natural reserve to “Pueblito”, an archaeological city where we can appreciate the architecture and lifestyle of our ancestors. From there we continue our trekking for one hour to reach the beautiful beaches of Cabo de San Juan, where we will have lunch and enjoy the beauty of the beaches. Return back to a spectacular Lodge.

Day 15 - Neumating at the Palomino RiverWhen we do awake, we will have a delicious breakfast and take a walk of 30 minutes to reach a point at the river Palomino where we can descend on tyres (neumating). At dusk you will have a meeting with community leaders who will tell you a little more about the region and community projects they are undertaking to which you have also contributed with this trip. In the evening we will have a farewell bonfire along with music from the region.

Day 16 - Cartagena de IndiasWe will depart to the city of Cartagena, charming for its history and beauty. After this 4 hour drive we arrive at our hotel charming Hotel and have the afternoon to enjoy the peaceful streets of the historical center of the old town.

Day 17 - Back HomeToday we will return back to Bogota and take the flight connection home.
