Day 2: Anavilhanas Beach / Giant Tree / Traditional Community / Trail in Forest
Breakfast at Camu Camu Restaurant.
Dry Season: After breakfast, speedboat journey (45min) for leisure in the Chameleon Beach, in the heart of the Anavilhanas National Park. After a refreshing bath, flora and fauna appreciation, rapid shift to the largest tree in the Anavilhanas flooded forest, the Giant Macucu, in a fast incursion into lowland forest. Then travel to Sobrado Beach for lunch of traditional Amazon fish roasted on the grill. Rest and contemplation in hammocks armed through the trees of the island, already near the community of Curuçá, which has bathroom and toilet services.
Flood Season: Speedboat journey to visit the Sobrado riverside community with interpretive trail with 2h30m trekking, where you will have opportunity to meet the fauna species, flora and Samaúma, the biggest tree species in the Amazon. Lunch with traditional Amazonian fish barbequed in traditional Caboclo’s house.
Speedboat return to the Lodge (45min).
