The best memorable and unique tours

Aconcagua rewards every adventurer with memories!

It's not just the summit that matters on Aconcagua — it's the journey through wind-blasted ridges and starlit camps that stays with you.

The 18-day Aconcagua expedition includes gradual acclimatization, summit day at 6,962 m, and a return to Mendoza.
Trekking Aconcagua isn’t just a climb — it’s a powerful encounter with nature, endurance, and the limits of the human spirit.
At nearly 7,000 meters, Aconcagua is more than Argentina’s highest peak — it’s a pilgrimage for those who seek challenge and serenity in equal measure.

The tour route is planned by days

To Aconcagua day by day
Day 01: Mendoza – Altitude: 760 m.
Our expedition begins in Mendoza, Argentina.
Upon your arrival at the airport, our representative will be waiting for you. We will accommodate you in a comfortable central hotel where, after some time to rest, you will participate in a group meeting in which you will meet the guide and the other members of the group. Accommodation: Double or triple room in hotel – Transport: Airport – Hotel in Mendoza

Day 01: Mendoza – Altitude: 760 m. -0
Day 02: Mendoza / Puente de Inca – Altitude: 2700 m.
After breakfast, we head to the INKA office where we will receive the entry permits already arranged beforehand, and we can also finalize payments and hand over vouchers if necessary. Once this is done, a minibus will take us to our logistics center in Puente de Inca. We will organize the loads, which will be transported by mules, and stay overnight there.
Transport: Mendoza – Puente de Inca – Meals included: Breakfast and Dinner
Day 02: Mendoza / Puente de Inca – Altitude: 2700 m. -1
Day 03: Puente de Inca / Confluencia – Altitude: 3390 m.
After a night in Puente de Inca, we will be transported to the entrance of the park called Horcones. We will present the permits at the ranger station and begin a trek lasting 4 to 5 hours to reach Confluencia. During almost the entire trek we will contemplate the imposing south face of Aconcagua.
Transport: Puente de Inca – Horcones – Accommodation: Double/triple tent or Dorm Dome – Meals included: Breakfast, packed lunch, and Dinner

Day 03: Puente de Inca / Confluencia – Altitude: 3390 m. -2
Day 04: Trekking to Plaza Francia Viewpoint – Altitude: 4000 m.

The staff will welcome us with a well-deserved welcome meal after the effort made.

Day 05: Trekking to Plaza de Mulas – Altitude: 4300 m. -4
Day 06: Rest at Plaza de Mulas – Altitude: 4300 m.

high camps (shared equipment and food).

Day 06: Rest at Plaza de Mulas – Altitude: 4300 m. -5
Day 07: Carrying Equipment to Camp 1 – Altitude: 5050 m.
This is a day in which we face the challenge of gaining almost 700 m of altitude while carrying a load on easy terrain and then returning to rest at base camp. In our program, we strategically carry equipment and food so that, as we ascend to higher camps, our backpacks become lighter. This also helps us acclimatize better and increases our chances of reaching the summit.
Accommodation: Double/triple tent or Dorm Dome – Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.

Day 07: Carrying Equipment to Camp 1 – Altitude: 5050 m. -6
Day 08: Rest at Plaza de Mulas – Altitude: 4300 m.

Day 08: Rest at Plaza de Mulas – Altitude: 4300 m. -7
Day 09: Ascent to Camp 1 “Plaza Canadá” – Altitude: 5050 m.
The next morning, we begin the ascent to Aconcagua’s high camps. We move to Camp 1, called “Plaza Canadá.” Up until this point, we have been working on achieving optimal acclimatization, and now it’s time to make use of it. Our goal is to give everyone the best possible chance of reaching the summit.
Accommodation: Double tent – Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
Day 09: Ascent to Camp 1 “Plaza Canadá” – Altitude: 5050 m. -8
Day 10: Ascent to Camp 2 “Nido de Cóndores” – Altitude: 5550 m.

Day 10: Ascent to Camp 2 “Nido de Cóndores” – Altitude: 5550 m. -9
Day 11: Acclimatization at Camp 2 – Altitude: 5550 m.
This day is dedicated to improving acclimatization to the altitude. The guide may suggest different activities depending on the group’s condition. We will take advantage of this time to rest and give our bodies more opportunities to adapt.
Accommodation: Double/triple tent – Meals included:
Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
Day 11: Acclimatization at Camp 2 – Altitude: 5550 m. -10
Day 12: Ascent to Camp 3 “Plaza Cólera” – Altitude: 5970 m.
We begin a four-hour hike to Camp 3, located on the North Ridge. This is the last camp before the summit attempt. Upon arrival, we will set up our tents, eat, and rest to be in optimal condition. The Guide will individually check each group member and give final recommendations. We will also plan

the strategies for the final ascent to ensure success in reaching the summit.
Accommodation: Double/triple tent – Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
Day 12: Ascent to Camp 3 “Plaza Cólera” – Altitude: 5970 m. -11
Day 13: Aconcagua Summit – Altitude: 6962 m.
The day begins very early, before dawn. This is the most demanding day of our expedition. We follow the Normal Route to the Refugio Independencia (6380 m). This is usually where we see the first rays of sunlight. We ascend to the “Portezuelo del Viento,” where we may experience strong winds even on calm days. We continue along the upper section of the western face and reach “La Canaleta,” a 300-meter slope that leads us to the summit ridge. From this point, we advance along the Guanaco Ridge until reaching the summit.
At 6,962 meters, the top offers us a 360° panoramic view, including the imposing South Face of Aconcagua. The emotion and satisfaction of reaching the summit are indescribable—a unique feeling only understood once it is achieved. After sharing these unforgettable moments, we begin the descent back to Camp 3.

Dear Anna, Alexandra, Iona and the rest of the team at Ada Tours
Feed-back from a happy, satisfied customer!
A very big thank you for your very efficient services, Hospitality and most importantly your patience throughout the tour of my client. Dr. Chrysantha Mendis is very happy with the entire Tour. You did a fantastic job by organizing a detailed tour package covering 7 countries, Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia, Chile, Peru, Argentina, and Brazil. Dr. Mendis has enjoyed all the countries though he could not do a few tours in Peru which is understandable due to political unrest. We will recommend Ada Tours to all our clients in Sri Lanka and will start promoting your tours in our website.
Best wishes and kind regards,
Shamali
