roaring Urubamba River and alpine Lake Titicaca,
rugged canyons and towering sand dunes.
Machu Picchu, hidden in the mountains.
This tour to to Brazil offers rich and fulfilling sightseeing with adventure, relaxation and romance mixed together.

Day 1: Lima

Welcome to your Peru and Brazil Tour! Meeting and assistance upon arrival and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for your leisure time to relax after your travel or to start to discover the city of Lima. Lima is the capital and the largest city of Peru. It is located in the central coastal part of the country, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The city was founded in 1535 by the Spanish discoverer Francisco Pizarrounder and was named “Ciudad de los Reyes” (City of Kings). The historic center was declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO.It’s a city with great cultural diversity- which has a large number of museums. Another amazing thing it has to offer is its great food which has been recognized worldwide through many years. Lima offers a wide range of restaurants and bars, where you can taste delicious Peruvian dishes and drinks. In Lima you will find everything you are looking for diversity of cultures, adventures, beaches, variety of food, entertainment and everything you can imagine.

Day 2: Lima

After breakfast, you have a guided tour that includes visits to the main Colonial attractions such as the Main Square with the Cathedral, San Francisco Convent, and many elegant buildings with their traditional wooden balconies, which had been restored. Afterwards you will visit Lima’s residential areas: San Isidro with its Olive Grove, Country Club and Golf course and Miraflores with its Central Park, City Hall and Main shopping streets such as Larco Avenue. Return to the hotel.

Day 3: Lima – Cusco

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for your departure flight to Cusco. Arrival in Cusco, reception and transfer to the Hotel. In the afternoon we will get away from the crowds to visit Sacsayhuaman, an impressive citadel full of colossal constructions surrounded by beautiful landscapes in complete communion with nature. We will then continue to the Inca shrine of Qenqo, with its awesome altar for sacrifices embedded in the side of the rock. We will finally reach the Puca Pucara watchtower and Tambomachay, a monument of noticeable architectural excellence, considered one of the pillars of the Andean view of the world. Climb to the Archaeological park of Sacsayhuaman, in the higher part of Cusco. Our first stop will be Tambomachay, a source of spring water that it is believed was once worshiped. Next we will visit the remains of Qenqo, a stone made labyrinth with a sacrificial altar in its center. At the Fortress of Sacsayhuaman we will enjoy a wonderful view of Cusco while admiring the massive stones that make up the fortress. Our last stop will be to see the Tower of Puca Pucara before transferring back to the city and your hotel.

Day 4: Machu Picchu

After breakfast, we set off by train to Machu Picchu. The train passes through the Sacred Valley. The single line track hugs the right side of the canyon next to the boulder-strewn, roaring Urubamba River. Arrival at the small town of Aguas Calientes, and finally a 30-minute bus ride up to Machu Picchu. Machu Picchu, an Inca city with a maze of fine stone temples, houses and fountains, spectacularly situated on a ridge between two peaks. Hidden by dense vegetation when Hiram Bingham discovered it in 1911. There you have a guided tour. In the afternoon you have lunch and then we return to Cusco by train. Transfer to your hotel. Overnight.

Day 5: Cusco – Puno

Breakfast. You have to transfer to the bus station from where we take a bus from Cusco to Puno. The route is scenically stunning, and there are stops at cultural sites such as Pikillacta, the baroque church at Andahuaylillas, the Temple to Viracocha at Raqchi. Lunch at Sicuani. The bus climbs to the high pass of La Raya, at 4,200 meters, from here the scenery changes dramatically. Arrival in Puno, reception and transfer to the hotel. Puno is a port city at an altitude of over 3,800 msnm, on the shores of Lake Titicaca on the Altiplano of Peru. Despite its picturesque hillside setting, the city itself is a ramshackle collection of mostly unfinished modern buildings – its biggest attraction is as a departure point for the famous floating islands on the Peruvian side of Lake Titicaca.

Day 6: Puno – Lake Titicaca – Lima

In the morning, we take a short boat ride to visit the Uros Islands, the famous floating reed islands of Lake Titicaca. A unique feature of this part of the lake is the traditional settlement of Uros people on floating islands made entirely of reeds-the same material they use to build their canoes. The islanders also use totora reeds to make boats, and even as food. Although fishing is still an important activity, nowadays the inhabitants earn their living mainly through selling handicrafts to tourists. Our next destination is Taquile Island, known for their kindness of their residents, their ancestral skill in weaving, their pre-Columbian constructions, and lovely countryside. Lunch included. After the tour transfer to the airport Juliaca for your departure flight to Lima. Arrival in Lima, reception and transfer to the hotel.

Day 7: Lima – Foz do Iguazu

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport with a driver only. Flight to Foz do Iguacu. Arrival in Foz do Iguacu airport. Meeting at the airport with your driver to visit the Brazilian side of the magnificent Iguaçu Falls . Following the walkways which border the canyon of the Iguazu River, you will enjoy the sight of hundreds of small waterfalls. At the end of this Trail you will arrive right in front of the huge and impressive Devil's Throat, the strongest and most powerful of all waterfalls. You will feel the waterfalls with the splashing water around you and the whole area around is full of beautiful rainbows. At the end of the tour your guide will drop you off at your Hotel. At the big waterfalls of Foz de Iguazu you can find the border triangle with Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina. A former frontier military outpost, construction and tourism led to development and growth in the area. The Iguazu Falls receive their name from the Caingangues Indian word meaning 'great waters'. The falls are formed by the Iguazu River and consist of 275 separate falls; they are surrounded by the virgin jungle of Iguazu National Park which is home to about 2000 species of flora and 400 bird species (including parrots and toucans). The highest fall, the 'Garganta do Diabo' (Devil's Throat) reaches 70m (230ft), which is one and a half times the height of the Niagara Falls. Besides taking in the stunning view from one of the many catwalks" visitors may try rafting or take a spectacular boat ride through the falls.

Day 8: Foz do Iguazu

After breakfast you will go to the Argentinian side of Waterfall. The Argentinean side is different from the Brazilian; you will walk on paths through the falls which give you the opportunity to have a look under the falls. You feel the strength of the falling water from up close and enjoy the 55.500 hectares natural park surrounding this spectacular beauty! Within the park, take the train to the marvelous devil's throat the strongest of all the waterfalls. Stand directly above the falling water and admire the strength of this natural phenomenon. After that you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Buenos Aires. Arrival in Buenos Aires. Transfer to the hotel in Buenos Aires. Accommodation and rest in the hotel. Excursions with additional charge: Great Adventure Boat Trip The Great Adventure takes you to meet the Iguazu Falls from a new point of view, but no less entrancing. It all starts with a wonderful track by the Iguazú National Park. A walk six miles through the fully motorized Yacaratiá Sendero, which will take you from subtropical vegetation, where flora and fauna coexist in harmony. Multilingual guides pass information about the curiosities of the jungle. At the end of this wonderful journey you find Puerto Macuco. It's a ride in a special and very safe boat, passing the island Isla Martín. The boat then on a superspeed takes you directly into the falls! Sparks of water and the adrenalin felt cannot be described in words and have to be felt! And yet you have the privilege of passing very close to the famous Garganta del Diablo.

Day 9: Foz do Iguazu – Rio de Janeiro

Private Transfer out to the airport for your flight to Rio de Janeiro. Upon arrival our guide will welcome you and you will be transferred to your Hotel. In the afternoon you have the chance to go on a half-day excursion to the Sugar Loaf. The first stop is the Urca Mountain, with a wide viewing area that also offers the possibility to have a snack in the restaurant on top of the mountain. On the mountain of Sugar Loaf you will have a beautiful view of Rio, Copacabana beach, the bay, the surrounding mountains, islands in the ocean, bridge Niteroi, and the statue of Christ on Corcovado Mountain. After going down by cable car, the tour continues by car to the central regions of the old town of Rio where you can admire several old churches, monasteries, the main cathedral of the city as well as buildings in colonial style.

Day 10: Rio de Janeiro

Corcovado and Christ the Redeemer Statue After breakfast we set off on a tour through the city. Arriving at the station, the environmentally friendly train will take us through the jungle to the top of Corcovado. On both sides of the railway you will have spectacular views of Tijuca forest, inhabited by monkeys and other exotic animals and birds. On top of Corcovado, at an altitude of 700 m above sea level, you will stand in front of the symbol of Rio de Janeiro- Statue of Christ the Savior (38m) that was built in 1931. From top of Corcovado, you have a breathtaking panoramic view of the city and its surroundings like the Bridge Niteroi, Guanabara Bay, the Botanical Garden, the Maracana stadium and the Sugar Loaf.

Day 11: Rio de Janeiro - Búzios

After breakfast you will be transferred to Buzios in your hotel at the tropical resort. Buzios is a small fishing village situated 105 miles away from Rio de Janeiro with more than 20 magnificent beaches and crystal-clear water, wonderful landscape and exotic vegetation, privileged with a great year-round summer. Originally settled by European pirates and slave traders, this mixture of many bloods prospered and became a picturesque village, elected one of the 10 most beautiful areas in the world famous for its unique combination of rustic charm, architectural harmony, incredible beauty and sophisticated boutiques and restaurants visited by travellers who come from all over the world to savour its magic.

Dear Anna, Alexandra, Iona and the rest of the team at Ada Tours
Feed-back from a happy, satisfied customer!
A very big thank you for your very efficient services, Hospitality and most importantly your patience throughout the tour of my client. Dr. Chrysantha Mendis is very happy with the entire Tour. You did a fantastic job by organizing a detailed tour package covering 7 countries, Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia, Chile, Peru, Argentina, and Brazil. Dr. Mendis has enjoyed all the countries though he could not do a few tours in Peru which is understandable due to political unrest. We will recommend Ada Tours to all our clients in Sri Lanka and will start promoting your tours in our website.
Best wishes and kind regards,
Shamali
REVIEW №4- Carol
Hi Anna, thank you for the update on the glasses. I’ll wait and see what happens! Alan and I are now back in the UK. We loved our trip to the Pantanal and Bonito. Our guide, Alessandra was brilliant with lots of knowledge and very considerate and helpful. The only hitch we had was on our flight back to Rio because the second leg of the trip was cancelled and we were rescheduled to a later plane and our luggage was mislaid. Fortunately it arrived in Rio a day later, before we flew home. Thank you for arranging the trip.
Best wishes Carol

Hello Anna and Natalia,
Thank you for all your help with our trip! I know our group was difficult, and I appreciate your patience with us. We loved the tours, the horseback ride, and the absolutely beautiful lunch at the vineyard. Our guides and drivers were fantastic, especially Luis. And the hotels were perfectly located. It was such a convenience to be centrally located in both Lisbon and Madeira.
I hope you enjoy a wonderful holiday and I look forward to working with you in the new year!
