Day 1:Arrival in Manaus. You will be met by our English-speaking guide and transferred to the pier in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. Then you will have a unique adventure - a seaplane flight (about 30 min) from the pier to Mirante do Gavião Lodge. You will enjoy your trip admiring breathtaking views of the Amazon rivers and jungles above. Your luggage will be transported (about 3 hr) to the lodge by car.
Then you can have wildlife viewing excursions (on foot or by boat). These activities are led by naturalist guides.
Optional: a diving activity in the Rio Negro.
Dinner at Camu Camu Restaurant. The Camu Camu Restaurant overlooks the river, and offers a mix of regional flavors. These include locally-sources fresh fruits and nuts, prawns, and fish.
After dinner, you can spot caimans and other nocturnal animals, and explore interpretative trails in the Anavilhanas National Park, a Brazilian protected area in the state of Amazonas. The region is one of the most unique and well-preserved ecosystems in the world, with astounding biodiversity.

Day 2: Anavilhanas Beach / Giant Tree / Traditional Community / Trail in ForestBreakfast at Camu Camu Restaurant.
Dry Season: After breakfast, speedboat journey (45min) for leisure in the Chameleon Beach, in the heart of the Anavilhanas National Park. After a refreshing bath, flora and fauna appreciation, rapid shift to the largest tree in the Anavilhanas flooded forest, the Giant Macucu, in a fast incursion into lowland forest. Then travel to Sobrado Beach for lunch of traditional Amazon fish roasted on the grill. Rest and contemplation in hammocks armed through the trees of the island, already near the community of Curuçá, which has bathroom and toilet services.
Flood Season: Speedboat journey to visit the Sobrado riverside community with interpretive trail with 2h30m trekking, where you will have opportunity to meet the fauna species, flora and Samaúma, the biggest tree species in the Amazon. Lunch with traditional Amazonian fish barbequed in traditional Caboclo’s house.
Speedboat return to the Lodge (45min).

Day 3: Departure/ “Meeting of the Waters”/ Swimming with Pink DolphinsBreakfast at Camu Camu Restaurant.
We will leave the lodge and have a boat trip to Manaus. On the way a last exploring for bird-watching and good chances to see the Victoria Regia, the giant water lilies in the Janauary Ecological Park. We explore the mysterious flooded forest, observing wildlife in the trees and in the water. While we enjoy sailing the boat starts navigation toward the “Meeting of the Waters”. A unique spectacle where the bright colored water of the Amazon and the dark water of the Negro flow side by side without mixing for many miles.
Then you will have another unforgettable experience - swimming with pink dolphins. You will learn a lot of interesting things about these unique mammals, and most importantly-you will experience an indescribable delight while communicating with them. You can also feed the dolphins and take pictures with them.
Lunch will be served at a floating restaurant. After lunch you will be transferred to Manaus airport in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle.
