Wildlife Viewing – The islands are home to a wide array of marine life, including sea lions, Humboldt penguins, and numerous species of seabirds such as pelicans and cormorants. It's a paradise for wildlife enthusiasts.
Boat Tour – The primary way to explore the Islas Ballestas is by boat, offering stunning views of the islands' rugged rock formations, caves, and natural arches.
El Candelabro Geoglyph – Before reaching the islands, you’ll spot the enigmatic Candelabro, a large, ancient geoglyph carved into the hillside, resembling a candelabra. Its origins and purpose remain a mystery.
Dramatic Coastal Scenery – The tour provides breathtaking views of Peru's coastal cliffs, turquoise waters, and the surrounding desert landscape, making it a visually captivating experience.
Birdwatching Paradise – The islands are a birdwatcher's dream, as you’ll have the chance to see thousands of seabirds in their natural habitat, including rare species.
"Early in the morning transfer to Paracas (up to 4 hrs), arrival and we will embark on a boat tour to the Ballestas Islands. The “Chandelier” a giant figure marked in the sand in the style of the Nazca lines can also be seen on our way to the islands. On the islands you will be able to observe sea lions, pelicans, Humboldt penguins and other sea birds. Tour duration 2 hrs approx. Return to hotel. After that transfer to Pisco airport (up to 30 min).
We will start flying over the wonderful Ocucaje Valley, where the mountains keep the 150-million year-old marine fossil remains. Then we will continue to Santa Cruz, Palpa, Viscas and Ingenio Valleys, development sites of Paracas and Nazca cultures (800 BC - AD 700). From the air, we also will see the great Center of Lines (Cahuachi) and the peculiar Nazca Lines, recognizing the Monkey, Dog, Condor, Spider, Hummingbird, among others. Flight duration 1hr 40min.
Then transfer to Paracas h(up to 30 min.). Lunch. In the afternoon return to Lima."

Hi Anna, thank you for the update on the glasses. I’ll wait and see what happens! Alan and I are now back in the UK. We loved our trip to the Pantanal and Bonito. Our guide, Alessandra was brilliant with lots of knowledge and very considerate and helpful. The only hitch we had was on our flight back to Rio because the second leg of the trip was cancelled and we were rescheduled to a later plane and our luggage was mislaid. Fortunately it arrived in Rio a day later, before we flew home. Thank you for arranging the trip.

Everything went really well. As always we had to make some adjustments and the local guide and team on the ground were very responsive and took action professionally. I have no complaints about this :)
The clients were very pleased with the tour and all arrangements.
Changing the few meals at the end on Isabela was not an issue and the local team did a good job organizing this for me.
