Highlights of Your Brazil Beach Vacation

Top highlights

This 10 day Brazil beach tour is built so that cities and ocean travel together, not competing with each other. Colonial neighborhoods open onto the water, roads follow the coast, and the rhythm shifts from city energy to the quiet of reefs and lagoons. In one journey you get Recife and Olinda with their history, Porto de Galinhas with its long line of beaches and natural pools, and Fernando de Noronha with clear water and open ocean. This Brazil beach tour is designed so the transitions between places feel natural: from city to coast, from coast to islands, from movement to rest. You do not have to choose between sightseeing and relaxing - they follow each other without effort. This is the Recife Porto de Galinhas Fernando de Noronha tour - a Brazil northeast beach package that covers the full range of what this coast has to offer.

A route where cities and the ocean walk side by side: Recife with its canals and bridges, colonial Olinda perched on hills, and the islands of Fernando de Noronha. Transfers are short, the logic simple, and each new city and resort offers fresh impressions without overload.
You will walk through the historic neighborhoods of Recife, where 16th‑ and 18th‑century churches and mansions stand on narrow streets, and around the corner the ocean line opens up. Here architecture is not isolated – it lives next to the water, the markets, and daily life.
Porto de Galinhas is a long stretch of shore where natural pools emerge at low tide. Warm, almost transparent water, reefs – you can spend hours in the water, watching what happens beneath the surface.
Fernando de Noronha is an archipelago in the open Atlantic Ocean. It wins you over with its rugged landscape and solitude. Here you will find snorkeling in lagoons, diving, dolphins near the shore, trails to viewpoints, and stunning beaches.
You will see Baía dos Porcos – a narrow strip of sand between dark volcanic rocks – and Praia do Sancho, which regularly ranks among the best beaches in the world. Plus dozens of other inviting sandy beaches with lagoons and teeming marine life.
You will go diving: underwater, sound disappears, leaving only your breath and a gentle movement. Clear water, light beaming down from above, fish, rays, and turtles circling around you – and space gains an unexpected depth.
Northeast Brazil offers a rare combination: active days and effortless recovery. Morning on the road or in the ocean, afternoon strolls along the shore, evenings at seafood restaurants and lively open‑air streets with music.
By the end, this tour to Recife and the islands turns into a feeling: the warmth of your skin after the water, salt on your lips, the wind that doesn't stop even in the evening. City noise gives way to the silence of reefs, movement to pauses by the ocean.

Your 10-Day Brazil Beach Itinerary

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Recife – The 'Brazilian Venice'
Flight to Recife. On arrival, transfer to your hotel. Time to rest.
Recife city tour begins even before it officially starts. On the drive from the airport, you already see the Recife canals, bridges, and boats at the quays - the city sits at the mouth of the Capibaribe River where it splits into channels and meets the Atlantic Ocean. Recife is the capital of Pernambuco state, one of Brazil's most important ports, and is nicknamed the "Brazilian Venice."
Despite its rapid growth, the city has kept signs of Portuguese and Dutch rule - fine churches, grand mansions, and many historic buildings with darkened walls and carved balconies. The Recife historic center opens onto the water, with restaurants on the promenades and the ocean just minutes from the city center. This is an excellent starting point for your Brazil beach vacation: great Recife beaches, cafés, restaurants, and a busy nightlife scene right in the city.
Day 1: Arrival in Recife – The 'Brazilian Venice' -0
Day 2: Recife & Olinda – Colonial Heritage and Ocean Views (Full-Day City Tour)
Breakfast at the hotel. Full-day city tour of Recife and Olinda.
What to see in Recife? You visit three sectors of the Recife historic center: Recife, Santo Antônio, and Boa Vista. You cross the Maurício de Nassau bridge and arrive at the Republic Square, where the Governor's Palace, the Santa Isabel Theatre, and the courthouse stand in the shade of the trees. In the Casa da Cultura - a 19th-century former prison - the old cells now hold shops: spices, ceramics, textiles, and local food.
Then a transfer to Olinda tour). Olinda is a UNESCO World Heritage Site - included for its well-preserved Olinda UNESCO historic center and its 16th–18th century architecture. The Olinda church collection is extraordinary: you move from church to square, from square to ocean view, and the hours pass without noticing. You visit the Church of Mercy and the São Bento Monastery. Then you climb to the Church of the Savior, at the highest point of the city on Alto da Sé Hill - from here, an amazing panorama opens over both sister cities.
Day 2: Recife & Olinda – Colonial Heritage and Ocean Views (Full-Day City Tour) -1
Day 3: Porto de Galinhas – Beaches, Natural Pools & Snorkeling
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer south along the coast - palm trees, low houses, strips of sand between the ocean and the road. Arrival at the hotel in Porto de Galinhas. Time to rest.
Porto de Galinhas is 60 km south of Recife and one of the best points on the whole coast. It is famous for its Porto de Galinhas beaches - some of the most beautiful in the country - and above all for the Porto de Galinhas natural pools. At low tide, the water pulls back and exposes shallow lagoons with clear water and reefs. In the morning the pools are especially calm: flat water, almost no waves.
The visibility is excellent - on a clear day the water is almost glass-like - so Porto de Galinhas snorkeling works even for beginners. You can also take a short Porto de Galinhas raft tour along the coast to the reefs.
Day 3: Porto de Galinhas – Beaches, Natural Pools & Snorkeling -2
Day 4: Porto de Galinhas – Free Day
Breakfast at the hotel. Free day.
The Pernambuco coastline stretches along a long strip of reefs and lagoons. For Porto de Galinhas diving), a few kilometers offshore lies Santo Aleixo island - Santo Aleixo island diving offers excellent visibility and is one of the best beaches Brazil has for professional divers.
Windsurfers and surfers head to Maracaipe beach Porto de Galinhas), where a stable wave runs from morning to evening and competitions are sometimes held. For those who prefer watching colorful underwater life, Muro Alto beach is a giant natural aquarium shaped by years of reef growth. Porto de Galinhas buggy rental is another popular option for exploring the coast.
The town has many restaurants and cafés serving fresh fish, and bars and clubs for those who want nightlife.
Day 4: Porto de Galinhas – Free Day -3
Day 5: Fly to Fernando de Noronha – Nature Reserve
Transfer to Recife airport, then flight to Fernando de Noronha and transfer to your hotel. Time to rest.
Fernando de Noronha tour takes you to an archipelago about 350 km off the mainland in the open Atlantic Ocean. You have almost certainly heard of Sancho beach Fernando de Noronha - Baia do Sancho - which has been named the world's most beautiful beach two years in a row. The water shifts from deep blue to transparent emerald, and the shadows of rays pass along the bottom close to shore.
People also talk about the Dolphin Bay Fernando de Noronha - Baia dos Golfinhos: in the morning, spinner dolphins come close to the beach and the water literally shimmers with their movement. For those new to diving, Fernando de Noronha diving is excellent for beginners: visibility is high and the underwater landscape is immediately clear. The island regularly appears on lists of the best diving spots in the world.

Best time to visit Fernando de Noronha: August to December - fewer rains, calm ocean, and the best visibility.
Day 5: Fly to Fernando de Noronha – Nature Reserve -4
Day 6: Island Discovery – 4x4 Jeep Tour to the Best Beaches
Breakfast at the hotel. Then one of the main highlights of your Fernando de Noronha tour: a full-day island excursion by Noronha 4x4 tour - Noronha jeep tour in 4x4 vehicles.
First stop: Vila dos Remédios, to see the Governor's House, the Church of Nossa Senhora dos Remédios, and the fort. Then the road leads to Sueste Bay (where sea turtles feed), then to Leão Beach. With luck, we may spot dolphins at Baia dos Golfinhos.
Next stop: Baia dos Porcos - a narrow strip of sand between black volcanic rocks. From here, a view of the Dois Irmãos mountain opens up. Then: the famous Baia do Sancho - Sancho beach Fernando de Noronha, one of the world's most beautiful beaches.
Then we visit Porto Santo Antônio, where a small chapel of São Pedro sits on a hill, and a historic old Air France building once housed the first Aeropostale seaplanes that crossed the Atlantic to connect Europe with South America. The day ends at Cacimba do Padre beach and Praia do Bode - fresh ocean breeze, waves, and an open horizon.
Day 6: Island Discovery – 4x4 Jeep Tour to the Best Beaches -5
Day 7: Diving in Paradise – For Beginners and Experienced Divers
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the port and boarding the boat.
You head out onto the open ocean and the shore quickly falls away behind you. Fernando de Noronha diving is considered one of the best diving experiences in Brazil and in the world. Visibility is high, the water is about 27°C, and the marine life is active. Certified divers receive a briefing and go in groups of four per instructor. First-timers get full equipment guidance and individual instructors. snorkeling Fernando de Noronha is also available for those who prefer to stay at the surface.
The dive is memorable. Light passes through the water in dense beams, changing color with depth. Your movements slow down, and attention catches details: rock formations and schools of fish, rays and the rare sea turtle. Shadows slide across the coral and the sandy bottom. After the dive, snacks and drinks are served on board to help you recover. Return to port and transfer to hotel. Total trip duration: 3–4 hours. Dive time: 30–40 minutes.
Day 7: Diving in Paradise – For Beginners and Experienced Divers -6
Days 8–9: Free Time on Noronha – Snorkeling, Trekking or Pure Relaxation
Free days. You can enjoy the many Fernando de Noronha beaches, book additional dives, or take a boat trip. Trekking trails lead to viewpoints with open ocean panoramas.
By now you already have the shape of your journey: cities by the water, colonial neighborhoods with historic architecture, long lines of beach, and an ocean that shows all its faces - from calm lagoons to open, choppy water. Fernando de Noronha adds a feeling of peace and closeness to nature: fewer people, more air, cleaner water, and sharper relief. This is where Brazil beach vacation and Brazil eco-tour become the same thing. The combination of rhythms is the key - and the final note is quiet comfort, just the horizon line and the sound of the water.
Days 8–9: Free Time on Noronha – Snorkeling, Trekking or Pure Relaxation -7
Day 10: Return to Recife and Departure Home
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for the flight to Recife and your international connection.
People choose this Brazil beach tour for its simplicity - nothing unnecessary. Historic neighborhoods by the water, Brazil beach resorts, and whole islands. The logic of the route is easy to follow, and each day fills itself. When you leave, you take with you not a list of map points but a chain of states: city noise, the shade of narrow streets, warm water, depth below the surface, an ocean breeze. This kind of Brazil beach holiday 10 days keeps warming you for a long time.
Day 10: Return to Recife and Departure Home -8

Buenas noches Viera.

Pavel, good afternoon!
My name is Marina Ryzhuk. A few weeks ago, our VIP group from St. Petersburg visited Rio with you. I believe you remember them well.
I’d like to thank you for your excellent work with our rather demanding guests. After the trip, they spoke very highly of your services. Our particularly important gentlemen especially appreciated your personal approach — you managed to find a special way to connect with them.
Through your tours, they were able to truly feel the city, which is absolutely priceless on such trips.
Thank you!

They said everything was as precise as with the Germans :)
REVIEW №11- Mikhail and Elena Leksikov
Good afternoon, we were in Rio de Janeiro March 15–17, 2020. Not for long, but it was very full of experiences.
The driver who met us at the airport, to our joy, spoke English and even a little Russian. He pointed out where we could walk and eat.
The next day we met Eleonora, a GUIDE and a Person with a capital P. We were lucky to visit Corcovado and see Brazil’s main symbol. Unfortunately, we couldn’t make it to Sugarloaf Mountain due to the coronavirus quarantine.
Instead of the canceled excursion, Eleonora gave us an impromptu city tour. She tells stories in an interesting way, knows a lot, but doesn’t overwhelm with facts, shows where the best photo spots are, and even took pictures herself. Thanks to her, we managed to get coffee and souvenirs—it turned out not so easy to find what we wanted.
She was very caring and concerned for us—even after we went to Búzios, she kept checking how we were, suggesting where to go and what to see and buy.

A very close-knit, friendly team, always ready to help.
REVIEW №12- Nikita, Saga Tour Operator
Good afternoon, Alexandra!
Thank you very much for the organization and support.
The tourist was very happy and said everything was top-notch :)
Paraty is definitely a place to recommend—it leaves no one indifferent. Porto Real is probably in the best spot on that coast.

Thank you!
Wishing you success in everything!

Alexandra!
Our clients have returned, very satisfied.
They left a special review about the guide in Quito:
In Quito, we had a wonderful guide named David.
During our three-day visit to Quito, your guide David was with us. He made our stay in Quito rich, interesting, and unforgettable. Not only does he know a lot about the city, the country, and its nature, he is also a truly interesting person himself. Our three days were filled with conversations about everything. Our knowledge of Ecuador is now practically encyclopedic—we learned so much. And the most important part was that it all happened through engaging discussions.
We’d like to highlight his punctuality, his thoughtfulness, and his attention to detail. His advice on restaurants and places to walk during our free time was invaluable. We’ve met many guides—this is the 103rd country we’ve visited. We don’t always get so lucky with a guide, but David was exceptional. Thank you to him and to all of you!!!

THANK YOU FOR THE EXCELLENT ORGANIZATION.
REVIEW №15- Elena and Evgeny

We came back very happy – the hotels were good, transfers and assistance were of the highest level, everything precise and on time. Thank you!
In Rio, at the hotel, we were greeted with champagne!!! ????
The coordinators also sent us photos of the cars and staff who met us, which made it easy to find our way around. The buses were large, new, comfortable, clean, and always stocked with bottled water in the fridge.
Our escorts checked us in for the domestic flights and stayed with us right up until passport control!

A poem dedicated to the Ada Tours guide!
In Rio, where sunlight meets golden skies,
Our guide Paulo greets us with kind, warm eyes.
He knows the whole city, where secrets lie deep,
And welcomes each guest with joy that’s sincere.
“Come on,” he says, “to Corcovado,
Christ calls you up to heaven’s shadow.
Then on to the beach, where waves beat the shore,
Copacabana invites us once more.”

Paulo will show us where samba resides,
Where Brazil’s true heartbeat endlessly thrives.
In favelas he sees not poverty, but life,
Where sparks of hope conquer struggle and strife.

With a smile, he leads us along every way,
Paulo’s our friend, our golden pathway.
A Brazilian guide, a master of wonder,
With him, Rio feels closer to heaven’s splendor.

This poem is from me, for you.

Good afternoon, Alexandra.
I want to thank you for organizing our vacation.
Our guides were simply outstanding – top class.
Pavel knows so much about Brazil and Rio in particular. He’s very easy to talk to, communicates effortlessly with people, is always learning something new, and gladly shares his knowledge. An excellent guide and a wonderful person.
And Tiago – we spent two days with him. He’s amazing. Even after 18 years of work, he hasn’t lost the ability to genuinely admire the beauty of the waterfalls. He still takes photos like it’s the first time.
With your guides, it’s never boring! Thank you once again!!!
REVIEW №34- Tatyana Yakubova
Hello, Alexandra.
I am sending you the full version of the tourists’ feedback:
We are publishing our review after our trip through Argentina–Uruguay–Brazil with my wife. It is always a pleasure to share emotions when they are entirely positive! We want to thank the entire Ada Tours team who helped us organize the perfect journey. From the very idea of the trip to its completion, you were always in touch with us, tailoring excursions and building the itinerary based on our requests, while also giving valuable advice and making all necessary adjustments. Everything exceeded our already high expectations – the trip was very rich and exciting! We recommend this route to everyone, especially when its organization can be entrusted to professionals☺️
We would especially like to thank you for selecting wonderful guides and drivers. At every stage, everything went like clockwork – we never missed a single thing, and the drivers were always extremely polite and pleasant.
Our journey began in Buenos Aires with a city tour. We visited the main square – Plaza de Mayo, cathedrals, and saw key architectural monuments from the Spanish colonial period, as well as the modern financial center. We explored the vibrant and colorful La Boca district and the main city ports. We were lucky with the weather, and the tour was fascinating. The guide advised us to visit several additional places, and we chose the Recoleta Cemetery, where many of Argentina’s most famous figures are buried. After the tour, we asked to be dropped off near the entrance and bought tickets. The only issue we faced was that we couldn’t pay in cash, but other visitors kindly helped us with the payment. The cemetery left a strong impression on us – we would definitely recommend it as a must-visit.
In the evening, we went to a tango show that exceeded all expectations. We watched authentic Argentine tango performed to live music, enjoyed Argentine wine, and saw other artists showcasing traditional instruments. The show was incredible and allowed us to truly experience the local culture.
The next morning we traveled by ferry to Montevideo. The journey was very comfortable; we would only recommend bringing snacks and an extra layer of clothing, as despite the heat, the ferry was air-conditioned and quite cool inside. We loved the city itself – we managed to see all the main sights and stroll along the coast. Midway through the tour, a wonderful lunch was arranged for us, followed by a light meal at the hotel.
After Montevideo, we continued as planned to Patagonia, where we spent just under three days. This place amazed us – it’s like nowhere else on Earth. From our hotel, we could see the vast Lake Argentino with its turquoise waters (sometimes flamingos can be seen there, though unfortunately we didn’t). The scenery of the Patagonian steppe and mountains will remain in our hearts for a long time. We took an excursion to the Perito Moreno Glacier – a unique wonder, truly beyond words. Probably the most powerful impression of the whole trip came from this glacier and the national park. It’s something everyone should witness with their own eyes.
After our mini-journey in Patagonia, we went on to Iguassu Falls, viewing them from both the Argentine and Brazilian sides. The sight was utterly unique and magical! Jungle, soaring eagles, butterflies, monkeys, and an endless chain of waterfalls stretching beyond sight. The park’s trails are very well maintained, with rest areas to escape the heat and humidity, and facilities everywhere.
The final stop of our trip was Brazil’s tourist capital – Rio de Janeiro. We visited the Christ the Redeemer statue, with its breathtaking views of the city, then spent time on Copacabana Beach, enjoying the Atlantic Ocean.
Overall, our journey was amazing and very full! And most importantly – as comfortable as possible, considering how vast the geography of our route was. Thank you!
Once again, thank you!

Sincerely,
General Director
