Breakfast at the hotel. 08: 00hrs Pick up from the hotel to start the excursion to the Tiwanaku Archaeological Complex, former pre-Inca archaeological city located 72 km from the city of La Paz, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. We will visit the Ceramic Museum, important temples such as the Pyramid of Akapana, the Semi-Subterranean Temple, the Kalasasaya Temple along with the famous Puerta del Sol and the Ponce Monolith. Return to the hotel. Lunch NOT included. 15: 00hrs Pick up from the hotel to start the excursion to the Valley of the Moon that is located 10 km. From the city center of La Paz, named after Neil Armstrong who was the first man to walk the moon in 1969, are curious clay formations that were created by the erosion of the winds and heavy rains. Then, we will transfer by cable car where we can enjoy a beautiful panorama of the city of La Paz. Breakfast at the hotel. Pick up from the hotel in La Paz and transfer to Copacabana (3810 masl), lasting approximately 3½ hours. En route we will cross by motorboat the Strait of Tiquina (20 minutes), which is the narrowest part of the lake dividing Lake Minor (Wiñaymarka) from Lake Maggiore (Chucuito). Arrival in Copacabana Lunch in the Restaurant hotel then transfer to the port for a quick boat trip (45 minutes) to the Isla del Sol where we will visit the Inca Garden, the Sacred Fountain of the Incas, Pilcokaina Palace and the Yumani Stairways.Then, return by speed boat to Copacabana (45 minutes) and transfer to the hotel. Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport to board the flight to the city of Uyuni. Transfer from the airport to start the tour.
